That's the way the story starts out. But the 0 to 100 thing is absolutely insane.Ironically this first part got me because I naively thought that was talking about accessibility, and making games more targeted/focused, both of which would be good things. One-hand controllers for amputees or whatever and games that don't need to shove enrichment down your throat (because they have another game for those who want that).
Of course, as I continued reading it became clear that no, it's just more diversity.
This outreach to Kotaku definitely seems like the kind of desperate cry for attention that LibsofTikTok and Taylor Lorenz were vying for when they interviewed each other.Melonie gives off a, "I was a whore in my past, so now I'm overcompensating by being super religious" vibe really, really hard. I'm a Christian personally, and yeah, we can usually sniff out that shit from at least a mile away. Girl is trying WAY too hard to put on the appearance of what she's selling without being authentic in ANY of it. A lot of normies don't like religion (or any kind of ideology for that matter) consistently shoved in their face. It's what turns people away from your overall message and overall appeal. It's just.. sad. It's very, very sad.
If journos are desperate enough to try and attack her without seeing that, then, wow. Things have really gotten bad for them. LOL. Rest in Piss, Kotaku. You will not be missed.
I don't get lefties obsession with food as of late. From them saying we should abolish farming, to wanting to hand over all farms to mega corps and billionaires. Wasn't the Candian government caught trying to steal soil samples a while back? This whole diversity = food argument is increasingly getting irritating and cringe.
That's a surprise.I'm a Christian personally, and yeah, we can usually sniff out that shit from at least a mile away.
I'm reading it for the sake of commentary, but this is the kind of stuff you see everywhere from your local retail job to something the military would give you in order to teach you not to rape.I want to get enraged but this has all the likability of HR forced harassment training that everyone just skips through as quickly as possible.
Who is retarded enough to go out of their way to even read this garbage?

Probably remarks more about Hitler's rise to power amidst the rest of Europe essentially whoring out Germany following WWI.Is this a joke about the Haber process? Ammonia is good for a lot of things, like growing food and obliterating your enemies!
it's simple when you break it down to the bare basics.I don't get lefties obsession with food as of late. From them saying we should abolish farming, to wanting to hand over all farms to mega corps and billionaires.
The effect is that the media industry has begun to mimic the fast food industry. Netflix and other corporate streaming platforms deliver media to you in the same manner as having a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink handed to you from a drive-thru window. Art is a disposable product made to stoke your endorphins for as brief period of time before you memory-hole it and move onto the next thing.it's simple when you break it down to the bare basics.
- Leftists hate capitalism but LOVE corpos. They will always go to bat for them and the corpos see this as a good thing and consider the people supporting them "useful idiots"
- In fact the majority of leftists are in fact funded by billionares.
- Leftists also hate anything that isn't the city. It's why they will say things like "don't fix your house, have someone do it for you, or better yet, have the fixers turn it into a studio apartment" or "that car your driving is so nasty, you should bike instead"
- Farming is a "country" thing, and to leftists country = the right, which = the bad people they are trying to get rid of
- Leftists LOVE the technological hellscape we are currently living in. Corpos have tons of technology, therefore they believe the corpos can make the food 2x as fast as farms, which would make the farms "obsolete/outdated", therby solving "the right" problem and chalking it up as a victory for the left while they smell their own farts in victory, all while proclaiming it's good because of X, Y, and Z reasons.
Its not for you, its for the true believers and the fence sitters. To get that foot in the door saying "hey, treat people with respect" so they have an opening to go in further. Cult indoctrination.I want to get enraged but this has all the likability of HR forced harassment training that everyone just skips through as quickly as possible.

Thrust me the whole 'write 50 guides a week' is just their way of seperating the truly worthless employees and figuring out which one is atleast worth keeping.I do find it kind of funny that SBI may be indirectly responsible for Kotaku dying if the bosses got fed up with Mercante's bullshit and decided to piss off the employees by making them write guides.
What a joke! They can take their ideals and shove'em where the sun don't shine.
That could be okay if they are going to put in some really, really fuck up shit but I have a feeling that this is just generic conquest
That's a surprise.
Not to sound like a 2009 fedora tipper, but the whole "I used to be sinner but now I found Jee-sus! Now give me money as I go from talk radio show to podcast talking bullshit about all the sin, drugs, and meaningless sex atheists are totally having, all the while claiming that behind closed doors atheist all believe in god but won't admit it publicly." was a common grift back then and the religious camp ate it up.
Rise of the Ronin has this content warning apparently.
I could do a better one. What a weird thing to say. Do they think their customers are retarded or something? "Please don't look down on us for things that happened 150+ years ago, for which we didn't have any control over." I'd hope most people understand that's just the mindset of the time. But apparently not?
