  • Leftists LOVE the technological hellscape we are currently living in. Corpos have tons of technology, therefore they believe the corpos can make the food 2x as fast as farms, which would make the farms "obsolete/outdated", therby solving "the right" problem and chalking it up as a victory for the left while they smell their own farts in victory, all while proclaiming it's good because of X, Y, and Z reasons.

The effect is that the media industry has begun to mimic the fast food industry. Netflix and other corporate streaming platforms deliver media to you in the same manner as having a cheeseburger, fries, and a drink handed to you from a drive-thru window. Art is a disposable product made to stoke your endorphins for as brief period of time before you memory-hole it and move onto the next thing.

The bosses probably know that most people would just watch or see an archived version of their articles to avoid giving their site any traffic.

Oh, it most definitely is a thing. Christians of all kinds are all about forgiveness without realizing that a lot of that is projection and people running a grift on them. I hate to say it, but most modern Christians are very, very gullible and will accept even the most surface level of talking about it without doing too much of a deeper dive into WHY someone wants to change their ways. It makes a lot of them open to being grifted on and scamming. Though, once the lot of them find out they're being scammed, it very rarely happens with the same person twice.

I can't tell you how much that genuinely pisses me off that no one does any kind of real vetting on a lot of it. Nine times out of ten, you can tell when someone's being very genuine. Sadly, not a lot of people have built in bullshit detectors.
