Yup. It's even in the little things too. From no skirts or feminine outfits, an island full of beaches with no swimsuits, to every non-story NPC suffering from middle age (and weight) syndrome. Especially noticeable with faces. With a hard ~5/10 limit seemingly imposed.
I remember friends complaining about people who don't ignore western crap.. because there is always Japanese/asian content. lol How is ignoring everything in the western industry working out again? It is insane to believe that in an industry so beholden to big money/business, so easily gatekept, so connected to the means of access (consoles and digital stores), ideology like current social justice dogma wouldn't infest every other part of the same industry if left unopposed.

This has been going on long enough that almost everyone has had something they used to like ruined by it. It could be something involving movies, TV shows, or comic books. If you talk to a person regularly it will probably eventually come up in conversation naturally. If it doesn't well, that would be odd unless the person is pozzed themselves. So, you just make an analogy to that other thing.

In the 90's and early 2000's, "This game contains scenes of explicit violence and gore" was a marketing tagline that began every Resident Evil title. It was not a serious warning, it was a hype-up line stating "Hey, kid, your parents won't want you playing this game because it kicks too much ass. You want some nightmares?"

You forgot to mention how awful the performance of the game is, often capping at 3FPS during mandatory story cutscenes, how buggy the game is even now over a year after launch because the issues start at the foundations and can never be fixed without changing the entire engine, the 70$+ DLC that is blatantly just cut content from the main game and how even the Japanese(especially the Japanese) hate this woke pandering crap with a passion.
The joke in all of this is that if Gamefreak went with the typical eye candy and gave coomers something nice to fap to, nobody would care. See Pokemon Sword and Shield, a game nearly as awful but had actual attractive designs for characters so nobody cared, there was character art/porn/memes/videos all season long. People only noticed that the game sucks now, when you take away the eye candy and there is nothing to get hyped about other than the game itself. Which sucks.
I'm going to laugh at the "Japan is not woke" crowd as every piece of Japanese media is either censored, westernized or has self-flaggelation at the start like Rise of the Ronin does, where the studio is sowwy for not putting enough niggers into the game. Even then, that same crowd will still cope about how ESG and DEI will never infect glorious nippon and how you must just hate lolicon, never mind nobody mentioning it until now. Everyone who has followed the situation knows this was inevitable, but for some reason the so called biggest foreign supporters of Japanese media sees this as a sudden shock.
Here is what I am interested in: Nintendo also supposedly follows ESG and DEI guidelines, they're the biggest gaming company in Japan so it would be weird for them not to. Is this heavily visible in any of their games other than Pokemon so far? Not a nintendie so I wouldn't know.

There's been some discussion about the nature of wokeness here. Even though wokeness' top-down ideological germination, the upkeep of it is natural considering it's systematic implementation within structures lacking direct oversight. I'm gonna schizopost politics sperg so bare with me.

This is why people correctly identify the cult-like nature, but with cults there are true believers in the upper echelons of the structure, with wokeness all the people above grunt or follower know it's bullshit, they are perfectly willing and able to express it in private conversation... that will inevitably get leaked because they're all sociopathic, narcissistic, BPD monsters vying for power.
The end result of this is very kind to existing power structures since the nature of these systems facilitates a certain level of upward mobility, giving the worst people you'll ever know a reason to uphold it. Unwilling to partake prunes away the socially healthy by the self-selecting nature of people's unwillingness to play a game where the only rule is to destroy everyone else around you. This is really no different to the managerial class in traditional corporations, the people who make it up the ladder are those with anti-social traits directed in a goal oriented way. Just like in those structures the people who play this game poorly, the low IQ ones, are the caustic ones burning everything down around them, hence this thread.
Wokeness therefore is self-selecting system of social motility upholding existing power structures for the benefit of those at the tippy top. (Much to the disbelief of the true believers who truly believe that a black woman dropping bombs on civilians is somehow materially different than a random white man doing the same thing). This class of deplorables, the middle-managers, the petty tyrants, and small minded social climbers are the "buffer class"; a petit bourgeoisie of half-a-millionaires. Their purpose is to hold normal people as ideological hostages and to act as lightning rods for the justified rage of the populace, while the people with real power hollow out the countries and heritage of the people they lord over; the globohomo noveau serf, thankful to work so they can barely escape their planned destitution.

I don't know what the most funniest thing about this is, the fact that it happened despite knowing what'll happen (even Reddit knew it would happen there was a poll on a stream before this happened & with only 6% approval rate yet more than 70% said no to the scarf, or didn't care), or the fact that many of the LGBTs hated this event too, or the fact that some of the KKK members were apparently Black themselves, or the fact that Mod Wolf, the behind all this was later fired for corruption charges.
