Elliot Page / Ellen Page - Former actress, starred in Juno. Turned into a pooner and divorced her wife because being a lesbian was not boosting her career anymore. Receives a daily dose of asspatting from Hollywood. Likes to show off her "male" body using fake abdominals.

For what it's worth, Page boy doesn't play the non-lesbian drug addict's love interest but the addict's daughter who's a product of incestuous rape and who she now wants to get to know (according to the Wikipedia summary/online reviews). With the way it's worded you'd think it was the former, but it's more likely that Ellen tried to make it sound poetic without reflecting over how haram it sounds

Nailed it.

Marion Bridge is an excellent film though. Molly Parker and Rebecca Jenkins were amazing, and it really captured Nova Scotia.

Page’s role was actually quite small. Only 3 or 4 scenes.

Please, Ellen, stop starting chapters in media res if you're going to have to back up four times to explain where we are.

Anyway, she is brutishly fucked up and it's painfully obvious that transition is just another form of self-harm for her.

Jeanette McCurdy talks about a disembodied voice telling her not to eat, and perform OCD rituals, in her memoir of being a child actor I'm Glad my Mom Died. I don't think Ellen and Jeanette are actual schizos, but I think having to be constantly thinking of how others see you at such a formative age probably induces a sort of schizo-like paranoia and could induce other symptoms.
Great analysis - I haven't read that yet, but I've heard it's extremely dark. It definitely feels like a way for them to voice thoughts they believe they - as actors or daughters - are not allowed to think. The "nasty" impulse isn't theirs, it's from the ether, it's their DISTRESS taking over their minds.

This is chapter seven, Leeches. We have reached into the dyke erotica part of the book, with Ellen narrating her sexual encounters and unpleasant sexual experiences she had when starting as an actress, so probably I'll have most of the hard stuff written in spoilers when they appear.

She starts the chapter by mentioning that now that she was an actress, she couldn't deal with having her parents nagging her on the set, she felt distracted everytime they appeared to film something. She probably didn't want the father in the sets.

And her mother was already feeling that the sexual preferences of her little girl might be different, so she started to show concerns, something that Ellen noticed during that time.

1711263322280.png

But the most important thing for now, she didn't wanted her around, I have the feeling that this probably have more obscure motives that she didn't mention in the book. But I digress.

1711263402666.png

We then met her first friends and possibly enablers, some horse wranglers that worked for Pit Pony, she mentions that this is one of the first times that she was starting to feel more liberated and with more freedom in her life. And narrate the experience she would have with them, and how she was more comfortable on looking like a boy.

1711263545197.png

And of course, she shits on her parents a little more, feeling that she was starting to endure a liberty never felt before and she was better off without them.

1711263654403.png

And here is when the plot gets nasty, she mentions the director who groomed her when she was alone in the world of acting. And basically how Hollywood was already starting to corrupt her in the most horrible way possible, even though she doesn't outright says it.

1711263945784.png

What more can I say, except yikes.

She then mentions about starring her first important movie role, her role in Hard Candy. A movie about a teenager (her) killing a pedophile in a particularly brutal way.

1711264190302.png

1711264237305.png

And in an ugly level of irony that would make Franz Kafka blush, just when she attended a party for finishing the filming of the movie, she mentions that someone that was a "crosswords puzzle buddy" of hers, raped her that night in her apartment.

1711264642655.png

After that pleasant read, we go to another timeskip to Ellen having eighteen years old. This time, another crew member, this time a woman, asked her if she was interested to go to apartment hunting (whatever that means) for the weekend. And Ellen, wanting to have a break for staying always alone in her hotel, accepted. And then they went to an apartment to see what could be better for her, the staff of the apartment waited in the entrance, the two went alone to the room of the apartment and uh... Yeah, you can see where this is going.

1711265156435.png

As you can see, another person took advantage to her, buuut, this was a woman who made the job this time. And implying that she has done this many times, one could say that she succesfully groomed her. And let me repeat that she was only in her 18.

1711265341048.png

And after she came back, this groomer reappeared again to her life. And tried to win her back again when she was out, and asking her about the fun times they had.

And the only thing that Ellen could say to her, to end the chapter.

I think I need a shower after reading all of this, just what the fuck.

So Ellen will out her friend Kate Mara, who is married to a guy and has children, for them both munching on each other’s rug and enjoying a good scissoring but she doesn’t name the men who groomed and raped her?

Am I insane but isn’t that morally the complete wrong way around?

I guess I‘m just on the wrong side of history or something.

I have no idea if Ellen is telling the truth or not but the fact that she's casually mentioning being groomed and sexually assaulted by her coworkers and nobody here or anywhere else is even batting an eye at the claims is a good reminder that Hollywood and everyone in it should be turned to glass.
Also not a great endorsement of trans joy. She’s the archetypal woman who pooned out because she was sexually assaulted. To be honest, it even raises questions about her lesbianism - it sounds like her entire sexual identity has been shaped by abuse.

The shitty makeup and suits reminded me of something Pinterest inexplicably thought I would be interested in:View attachment 5688619
Step 1 being of course, use makeup, and contradictory tips like "don't wear over-large shirts, but do wear comically oversized shoes and jackets."
From this tumblr
the funny thing is, as an actual biomale, i can tell you for a fact that doing the things in this list ironically make you less manly.
This fashion advice reads so so so female is not even funny. Everything on that comic strip screams "woman"
I'd date a woman with short hair and wearing jeans & jacket. Of adequate size and fitting, of course.

Just curious, are the two also friends with Alicia Vikander (who's married to Michael Fassbender) by any chance?

Am I crazy or Ellen close her eyes/look below to avoid crying? There is this interview I found on twatter.

I haven't watch a lot of interview of ellen, especially pre transition so I don't know if it's a thing she did in the past, but her post transitions ones are somewhat interesting, I really don't get why you would close your eyes while talking about being gender eurphoric or how you are happy to find yourself, maybe she doesn't realize that she does that.

Is she trying to impersonate Brock from Pokemon? Good lord, that's creepy

Hard agree. I started a while back watching small independents on Youtube. But I even stopped that.

Problem is, A24, Dust, Omeleto, et al. are already letting Hollywood in, and it SUCKS. I loved it when a story was told with complete unknowns. Now letting in Robert Pattinson and that doofy Florence Pugh takes me completely OUT of the story.

Honestly, same for Ellen Page here. Should've stayed back in the Sunnyvale Trailer park. She's not even a good actress anyway.

Because she's bullshitting herself as much as the person she's talking to. There's a reason people say "look me in the eye" when they want to cut the bs.

Considering they let her be a child actor, I have a hard time believing that Ellen's parents were just nice people who didn't know what they were getting her into. You might not know how corrupt the industry is but you know that the job involves spending long hours around many unrelated adults, and everyone knows what those obvious risks are. I think then going 'you fucking moron, getting into a bad situation with an unrelated adult man!!' is shutting the barn door after the horse is bolted. Everyone she knows is an unrelated adult, it's hollywood, she's had to socialise with these adults to network and advance her career for several years at that point after you let her make it her career as a 11 year old. What did you think was going to happen?
he was an every other weekend dad, I really doubt he could have done a damn thing to prevent her mom from letting ellen work as an actor. it sounds like he figured that ellen's mom would be reasonable and discuss safety with her, not realizing that is more typical of a father's sensibilities. and so he assumed that she had stupidly ignored a ground rule instead of being genuinely ignorant.

it is super telling to me that she is upset with her dad for being mean to her after the fact, but not upset with her mom for failing to protect her in the first place. it would have been trivially easy to prevent her from emailing a grown man.

She starts the chapter by mentioning that now that she was an actress, she couldn't deal with having her parents nagging her on the set, she felt distracted everytime they appeared to film something.

she praises her parents backing off, even though that lead to all the sexual abuse later in the chapter. Her parents are both shit for obliging those requests. A different dimension ellen who was told "no" probably wouldn't be famous, but also probably would have gotten molested a lot less and would not have pooned out. I have also noticed that people who live normal lives and have their own children often forgive the decisions that made them angriest at their own parents, the wisdom of it becomes obvious when you're doing the same job. Anything that serves to drive a wedge between a teenage girl and her parents is going to be full of sexual degenerates.

I think I need a shower after reading all of this, just what the fuck.
null's hypothesis that everyone in hollywood molests each other proven right once again. I wonder if she ever inflicted this kind of shit on someone else since it seemed normal to her?

What, are you trying to imply that real men don't contour with bronzer and weep over not being able to wear dangly earrings?
50% that; 50% her being a hysterical fabulist.
Remember: all Troons and Pooners are liars. All.
It's a conundrum: on the one hand, Hollywood is infested with sex perverts. On the other hand, a woman who thinks she can be a boy is delusional by default.
