I have to ask, as you are a girl, what is the most disturbing part to you about pooners? I am not female, but I find pooners more body-horror inducing than troons just because of the amount of visible scarring and muscle damage that cheap mastectomies and rotdog tissue harvesting causes.

Any horror game featuring pooner monsters should draw attention as to how pathetic and mutilated they are, and if there are troon monsters in the same game, the latter should be more frightening because of how unhinged they are and how much damage they can cause if they attack, but pooner-creatures should be much more unnerving and horrible to look at because of how they limp along or have various wounds, infections, and surgical scarring.

Not the same woman you asked, but I find it's body horror, but body horror that comes after the mind control/Pod Person horror.

At first it looks exactly like your friend or loved one, but it can only talk about gender and trans and self-pity, and it sounds more and more like every other one of them does. But sometimes the turn of phrase, or discussion of something far-flung, sounds exactly like your friend used to--and then the trans hivemind is right back again.

Then the physical body starts to change. Subtly at first, like a prodromal plague victim or someone with a Puppetmaster under their clothing, maybe with the gills of the ST:TNG neural parasite sticking out of the neck, if only you knew what to look for. But it becomes more and more apparent, their behavior and words and now even their body becoming something--not just something else, which happens when you hit the gym or get really into a new show, but something the same as the whole rest of the horde.
