Is there a topic that Phil can talk about and not sound like a complete moron? Even when he's talkin about what he had door dash deliver for lunch he just sounds retarded. If I had to guess it's cause he thinks every thing he says is profound and intelligent and constantly peppers in "you know what I'm saying/mean?"

I think DSP likes streaming more than just for the money in that it lets him hold court over the dents and make authoritative proclamations-- in his head of course-- while also serving as his only outlet and therapy. It's why I think he would/will continue streaming even if the streams make no money, the last dent has left and his only audience left is larpers and detractors.

Just looking at his history all the way back to the SRK forums, the Top Haters website etc and just how much of his life has been spent attention seeking on the internet it's clear that his greatest addiction of all isn't gacha, fast food or even money it really is just him feeling consumed by the need to exist online. He's completely hooked on receiving any form of attention for any and every useless thought that he feels the need to shit out across the digital landscape. I do believe if you took it away from him and replaced it with a "normal" life he would consider his existence to be meaningless khantent.

Both. Past Phil did nothing wrong and was just a young dumb kid in their early 30's, but also current Phil has changed and is now a family guy and proud cat dad.

Dude his idea of knees slapping hilarity is the comedy landscape of the late 90s to mid 2000s with smash hit timeless movies like American Pie, Van Wilder, Not Another Teen Movie and pillars of stand-up like Dane Cook and Carlos Mencia. Mitch Headberg? HUHHHHH? What fucking morahn finds him funny? Garrison Keeler? What duh fukk are people laughing at all he does is stand there whispering fucking idiots it's not funny cause he's not talking about tits, cocks and retards.

Phil was never funny and he always laughed and clapped at his own jokes, but his riffing used to have energy to it. Whether it was cringe political satire, racism, half-remembered stand up bits, racism, vulgar sexual comedy Andrew Dice Clay would wince at, or racism he would at least give it his best MST3K impression. Now you only see that energy when the comedy topic is anuses, things going into anuses, or things coming out of anuses.

And most of the time when he did Coop streams with John and Howard who was totally not a friend btw they also often winced at his rather crude humor. One of the best examples why Phil will never be funny is when Metokur watched Phil's infamous "Hello Jew!" clip. Metokur stated "He could o anything. Call them schlomo, something with stein or even doing the asthma voice. but nope. The punchline is just JEW! I am killing you JEW. That's not funny" The fine aspect of humor is something he chases like that 1st edition Wolverine doll or the 1st place in Evo 2005. And that is also why he was never able to retain his viewership he got early on. Once more "refined" characters came onto the scene they turned their back on CrudeHumorPhil. Plus of course they put more effort into their "work" as well

He never had a sense of humor. He knew what jokes were, in theory, and tried to emulate what others said and did, but missed the "sense" part of the sense of humor.

This extends to his concept of "observational comedy" which to him is simply pointing out the most generic stereotype that's associated with whatever he's looking at. Women get raped and are whores, blacks are criminals who occasionally play basketball, Asians look and talk funny and eat weird food, Muslims are terrorists and Mexicans are illegals and work in gardening.

This by itself is not funny.

Not without the proper setup, and some wit added to it.

Even if it was funny, then it's jokes that ANYONE CAN DO, and if that's the case, he's as funny as everyone else.

So, he's either simply not funny, or he's about as funny as the most basic lifeform.

This has never been more evident nowadays, when someone on Twitter can be completely destroyed with a single, clever one-line response, and those tweets get tens of thousands of likes.

Im sure its been pointed out a bunch but watching a Phil stream really does feel like cracking open a comedy time capsule back to the 2000s. Like, I was a teen around that time and I thought all of those things were fucking hilarious but eventually I moved on to other shit.

Whereas Phil simply didn't. I mean, barring saying faggot and retard all the time since those are no no words now that could get you kicked off streaming platforms.
