Pedal Autist here with an analysis of the pepto bismol pedalboard… I didn’t immediately identify most of these as I never cared about boutique brands, I always found it a giant marketing gimmick for little to no gain.
For a reminder of the barbie board:
Top row, from left to right
1. Midnight 30 Serenity Reverb - very little info on this, but I wasn’t particularly impressed by the company demo on YouTube. Very one-note ambience.
2. Gup-Tech Berry Mode Reverb - Not impressed either, seems to be a clone of many other multi-mode reverbs that you can get for way cheaper.
3. Mattoverse Warble Swell Echo - this is the first one I liked, but I’m not sure how its uses could translate to actual songs. More ambient stuff
4. Montreal Assembly Count to 5 Delay - I knew about this one but thought it came in blue normally. It’s another ambient thing. I’m imagining him serenading his wife with ambient guitar swells at this point - no sane person needs this much ambient.
4. Demiurge Instruments Doomy O))) - Appears to be a 1/1 clone of the Earthquaker LifePedal, but in Pink! In the guitar pedal world there is no copyright for a particular circuit board, so people will do this shit all of the time (essentially the what if it was purple joke from Eric Andre)
5. TateFX Antares Overdrive - appears to be a “Tube Screamer” clone with a few changes and a jacked up price. You can get something very similar for a lower price, but pink will always win.
6. Donner Sophgate Noise Gate/Effects Loop pedal - $140 for less electric hum from daisy-chaining a shit load of guitar pedals together.
Second row
1. Boss FV-50 - Pretty sure this is a volume control
2. Champion Leccy Kilter - seems to be kind of like a Boss Line Selector, or a signal splitter.
3. Line 6 HX Stomp - this is an expensive as fuck multi-effects pedal which lots of musicians buy because it is so versatile. It is likely the only one he actually uses lol
4. Demiurge Instruments Unicorn Milk - a JHS Pedals PG-14 clone, which was a pedal built for Paul Gilbert.
5. Alexander Pedals Sugarcube - Looks to be a chorus/modulation/80s all-in-one pedal. Likely pretty good but most of this could be found on the HX Stomp.
Overall, it’s 1000s of dollars for one goal. Pink. I guess the vanity must feel good.
