Don’t think I’d call Lute a good person given her sadism and the fact she shares Adam’s viewpoint. But as you pointed out, she is shown to be extremely loyal to Adam and is devastated by his death, so I wouldn’t say Lute is entirely bad either. She’s definitely more on the “evil” side of Heaven, though.
Same reason Adam and Mammon are basically the same guy with a different accent, Viv isn't very creative.
Women are best when they're a little bit sadistic. Though really when has murder ever been shown as a negative in the show? Probably all of once when Vaggie was going to kill the kid, but outside of that it's always treated as a gag or no big deal. That's just another issue with the writing, nothing about what Heaven is doing is made to feel impactful, and even Charlie doesn't seem to treat it as a horrific event.
I think it’s more that murder is mostly seen as bad from Charlie’s point of view because she’s the only one who gives a shit about trying to change things.

Every single time it’s either “durrrr they’re in hell of course they’re bad people” (usually in response to characterization issues and not their actual actions) or “well OBVIOUSLY you’re just jealous of Viv and her mediocre at best show! The Cherubs episode was what made me stop caring about HB, not because of them but because of how the message was just "le capitalism is le heckin' bad" message being forced in, and now they're working with Amazon of all people. I don't think they were made to make Heaven look good, rather they were there as a tool to pummel the thing the writers didn't like, which just shows how inconsistent the writing is to suit the whims of the writer's ego.
