I am conflicted about this as well because an overbearing psuedo-theocratic government (even when it supports things I like) is always more unstable than one that is fairly secular with a strong cultural moral fibre. It requires more work and vigilance from the citizenry (or a strong leader) to maintain the order.

I used to think that was silly when some Christians told me that when I was a teen, but the older I got, the more I realized that was actually true. It's hard to say exactly what it's from...

Most likely it's an alcohol-induced tremor from damage & inflammation in the midbrain. It could also be caused by stimulant abuse.

But it could also be something called "essential tremor" (ET) which is not uncommon in middle age.

ET is just a catch all term for tremor of unknown etiology. About 5% of people between the ages of 40 and 60 have Essential Tremor.

But what's unusual about Rekieta is that he has tremor-at-rest, which most people with ET do not have. Tremor-at-rest in ET is associated with more serious disease and worse outcomes. It's also associated with Parkinson's.

Nick if your are reading ... The prudent thing to do for yourself and you kids would be immediately do a Librium taper to get off the alcohol , and flush those "narcolepsy" stimulant prescriptions, before you do irreversible damage to your midbrain motor system.

I also think you can sign up for a free account and view the historical logs yourself. Nick does not bother to delete them anymore.
