I've posted several times about Nick's stimulant abuse, including the clip where he talks about his narcolepsy medications - plural.

Meaning two or more medications - Provigil, Dexedrine, Adderall, etc.

Shocking that a sleepy drunk can get multiple stimulant prescriptions, but that's modern medicine for you.

It's clear Nick has either moved on to snorting his amphetamine-based narcolepsy meds, snorting cocaine, or perhaps both.

The nosebleeds and the fact that he disappears to the bathroom every 45 to 90 mins would be more consistent with cocaine though.

Not to mention that it combines to make cocaethylene in your gut which is more toxic than either one alone.

Technically cocaethylene forms in the liver as a metabolite of ethanol and cocaine

Supposedly way more euphoric but also way more cardiotoxic. It's also neurotoxic.

The epistaxic episode (medical term for a spontaneous nosebleed) is interesting. He's either shoving illegal drugs up his nose. He has serious sinus issues (which I sorta doubt, no signs of which I am aware; he isn't a snorter like DSP). He has leukemia or lymphoma and the spontaneous nosebleed is from a derangement of platelet formation. Or his liver is starting to seriously fail, leading to a derangement of clotting factors, and suffering from severe portal hypertension.

If he's done or doing enough drugs to cause a nosebleed its going to kill him sooner than later. If it's leukemia or lymphoma, at his age, it is likely a death sentence, the type and severity would determine how long he has, could be anywhere from 6 months to 10+ years. If it's liver failure, 6 months or less, without a liver transplant. Without one he will eventually spontaneously bleed out and that will be the horrifying end of it.

If Nick got down to 0 viewers it would really be a contest between Nick's spite and laziness. He might keep streaming for a bit to "own the haters", but Nick doesn't like streaming even when he has an audience.

In the meantime, Nick is largely driven by spite and coom these days, so Nick is successful in living his own fantasy of burning down his life in a fit of self-indulgence. It remains very possible that Nick's ultimate goal is to keep going to gay bars to turn down gay men in hopes that he can aggravate one into following him home and shooting him, much like how Nick's hero Lester was killed after turning down his gay neighbor.

In any case, Nick has fetishized various forms of self-destruction and his values are largely inverted, so him intentionally driving his audience down to 0 in a backward attempt at success is a real possibility.

Nosebleeds can happen even with casual use depending on a lot of factors. He’s doing coke in a house that’s blasted with electric heat in the middle of a Midwest winter and therefore his sinuses are already dry when he introduces something extremely irritating. He also might not be crushing it sufficiently before snorting (noob!). It’s his drastic physical decline—even his skin color has changed, Jesus Christ—rather than a nosebleed or two that make this scary.
Don’t mean to invade the thread. I finally came in because Nick’s decline (seen via MATI and happenings) has been shocking and the nosebleed stuff finally spurred me to contribute. I have been trying to figure out why he looks like total shit/is dying live and daily booze plus coke is the answer, I’m afraid.
