Could be tinfoil, but what if those interviews were protection? Can't whack someone to keep them quiet if the truth is already out. Would explain why SBF got arrested and immediately started blabbing to journalists about his shady political donations.
 
I thought we were supposed to get a verdict in at least one of the trials this month of course I could absolutely be mis remembering as I haven't been following the SBF stuff for a little bit.

A quarter of a century is a good enough punishment for people like him. I can't wait for his antics both in prison and afterwards.

This. People got similar sentences for dealing weed. Apparently defrauding billions is not that bad as long as you grease the right palms. But then again, white collar crime has always been treated in a better light than hard crimes. Still, 25 years is nothing compared to Madoff's sentencing. I bet he's seething at how easy Sam got off.

On one hand, this is a light sentence. It's not nothing, this is at best being in a cell until his life is halfway over. And since he's a Vegan, I wouldn't be surprised if his health goes to hell in Prison because he might have to eat dead animals. That will be the real punishment for him.

On that note, people don't bring up how screwed up it is. The guy is a vegan for animal rights, but couldn't care less about the people his failed scheme drove to suicide. Lowkey the most psychotic thing about him.

The judge apparently recommended a "medium security correctional facility in the Bay Area". So he's not exactly going to big boy prison where all kinds of unspeakable horrors may have befallen him.

He's also apparently appealing the sentence.

Pretty good. I was sceptical till the end and expected that this would end in a much lower sentence than what you describe as sweetheart bullshit. I haven't followed the case recently, did that hideous kikess he was partnered up with get convicted and sentenced for her part in all this yet?

Even in club fed i don't think this will be a cakewalk for this quasi-autist. Do they have access to computers and the internet in minimum security prisons?

they can get tablets and game consoles from canteen and with his money he'll be able to get anything he wants. Broke niggers get smart phones in prison.

Fuck's sake, they really should've frozen his assets. Then again, there's still mommy and daddy's money. Alright, does indeed look like a cakewalk. In min-security he'd probably can get his hands on Adderal/amphetamines easily, too. Pretty much nothing changes for this dude.
