The board is fine if you don't go into any obvious porn threads. That means that unfortunately, unless you're looking for REKT or gore threads you're at the mercy of whatever cool thread might or might not be on the catalog. YLYL are filled with zoomer shit and reddit/twitter humor for the most part so I don't count them.
It should be noted that the SFW sister board, /wsg/ doesn't have the nigger dick problem and has some pretty good content. As for porn threads, they are very good at baiting people if you're bored, especially the blacked/WMAF(white male asian female) ones.

I had an issue where sometimes it would falsely trigger with words like 'translation' on those boards. The moderation is pretty good on /jp/ and /vr/ so there is not really any instances where I need to worry about a word filter so I just found is easier to disable it there.

That'd maybe make sense if the salvageable threads weren't outnumbered by bots/trannies/feds like 30:1. While using the neet.tv catalog I don't go below 100 filtered threads anymore.

/wsg/ has the problem that 80% of the threads contain shit that has been reposted for years and years on end. Don't know its current state but i last checked it after the 4chan/4channel split just happened and it had mostly the same stuff i last saw in 2014, when i was still actively browsing 4chan, on it.
