I have only played a little with polka... my first impression is that its mid. The combat and movement feels a bit too slow, having to stand still and having hold j to pick up items seems needlessly slow. Why drop a box after every encounter that you have to punch open? why not have enemies drop the coins and or items instead? Maybe those are just nitpicks and stuff gets much better after the first stage, its just my first impression, and Holocure and Idol showdon have set quite a high bar.
