A major difference is only pedos think Lolita is supposed to be approving despite it being thoroughly sarcastic and Nabokov himself irritated at people who didn't realize Humbert was utterly repulsive.
Humbert is basically a slightly smarter redditor, absolutely obsessed with his own interests and perversions, but completely oblivious to the wants or needs of anyone else. He's completely impressed by his own intellect which mainly consists of facile, shallow observations. I think one of the viler things is when the mother of the child he's obsessed with gets hit by a car, he basically kidnaps her and tries to drug her into getting raped, which he later actually does. Only after this does he tell her her mother is dead. I don't see how anyone could not realize he was an utterly vile monster at that point.

Has anybody been having issues signing into Reddit? I have several, usually temporary, accounts for each of the various Subreddits I use and I keep all my usernames and passwords on a notepad document. It seems for some reason Reddit has been sporadic about rather or not to accept my sign in information when I copy and paste it from the document.
Has anyone else encountered this problem as well or have a workaround? I have to close the browser whenever the problem occurs to get Reddit to accept my credentials, which is really annoying.

Are you using a VPN? I have one on my router and can’t even view Preddit logged out without a warning to turn my VPN off. I consider it a blessing.

Autistic power user gets into argument with autistic power mod about if or if not it is possible to be sexist towards men. This causes them to leave the subreddit in dramatic fashion but not before whining on another subreddit
upon seeing this many other users try to post the same thing and also get their posts deleted. This leads to the creation of a brand new sub by one of the spergs angry about this,
sub is 90% complaining about the bans.
upon seeing the creation of the sub the mod begins to ban users from every single subreddit the moderate for (over 300 subs!)
cross referencing mod lists for each of these subs leads people to deduce that the mod in question is known as u/merari01
here is a post from a different chronically online powermod who details that they left moderation of r/redditmoment because of this persons behavior
the rumor is that Marari is an alt for the now banned account u/awkwardtheturtle who was also a pretty infamous power mod in their own right but this is still unconfirmed.

I didn't go too deeply into his history (I got bored of the drug-posting) but in the monitor post, he says his female fiance broke up with him.

I don't see any evidence so far that OP is a fag, he just mourns the loss of his friend.

It used to be possible to bypass the VPN restriction by going to the "old" version of the site (old.reddit.com) but it seems that is no longer the case.
