There were actual conversations in the threads, it was strange being able to have conversations again on 4chan without dedicated trolls ruining threads.

Why does this site have automatic 90 day bans just for looking at the site on mobile data.
"Lot of previous bans" is not a valid reason to ban someone who has not currently done anything wrong. Its not like im god damn Preciousleaf.

You can't get banned for lurking. If you go to post for the first time on an IP and it's banned, it's because someone who had it before you got banned and it was already banned before you ever touched it.

If you're on mobile data then getting a new IP is a trivial task anyways, literally just turn it off and then on again. I'm assuming you're not talking about a rangeban, since you specified a ban length.

New april fools is up, and just like the past few years it's pretty fucking lame. This time it's a stock market simulator where every listing is named after a meme from 2016 or older because the people setting these up don't even know what the fuck the current site culture is. Higher effort than the AI shit last year, but still just as mediocre as the year with emotes that were all woefully out of touch and stolen from a discord server.

Eh it’s silly and encourages shitposting. At least there will be more to talk about than the last couple of ones. It’s the most effort they’ve put in an April Fools Day in probably half a decade. The bar is on the floor for 4chan staff so I guess I think it’s pretty good.

Godamn how do people do this IRL? I bought some DESU and it immediately cratered.
 
I appreciate giving /biz/ a bone here, it's one of the better boards remaining on a good day, but I still think this is not that funny. Nothing will beat the merged boards, giving us gems like /mlpol/. It was magical seeing all the confused shills trying to still spam nigger dick fruitlessly, as they failed to process the autism of the rainbow horses talking about why Hitler was right. They ended up giving up after a while and the board was actually usable for once, a new friendship was forged that day(to the dismay of tranny jannies).


I'm curious, what's the oldest meme or reference in this new April Fools? Something tells me the tranny moderators of today aren't going to put something more obscure that wasn't around before 2012 or so.

Hey, not that funny doesn't mean this April Fool's joke is completely devoid of fun. I'm enjoying making imaginary money. I having a gaff at all the boards' reactions.

I think DESU is the oldest popular thing here, some others might be older but DESU was definitely more well known at the time.
