Feedback Technical Grievances

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I'm also getting "server responded with an error" with Kiwi Flare. I have to reboot my PC to get the site to load again.

This is the second time I have tried to upload a video, and it fails shortly after reaching 100%. Am I doing something wrong?

Server seems better today.

Who knows. First thing I try is open up a different page. If KiwiFlare challenge immediately loads, that might be the problem. Then you can try to upload again and hope it works. If it's still messed up, come back later.

Video links are completely broken, even worse than the failed Invidious links, and you just get bullshit like this:
Screenshot 2024-03-31 224751.pngSomething like this gets you absolutely nothing other than an error message and you have to translate the weird media tag thing into a normal youtube manually to see whatever it is.

It's basically broken as fuck.

The YT frontend issue seems to be getting fixed.

edit: To clarify, YT was blocking vids using some "switcheroo" tactic, but the frontends are finding ways around that.

Everything is just perfect right now, don’t touch a thing.
Other than all media links being completely broken and you don't even get a direct link like the usual Invidious failure.

I'm just curious why I'm only able to "like" posts in a profile lately, instead of being able to use the disagree sticker? Is that part of the "No reaction notifications" system for some reason?

May be a bug with the reaction popup. I've seen it where i could only use the first one (Like) as all other ones generated server errors. Usually only happens during high load times, and DDOS attacks.

@Null Josh, my nigga, I think you fucked up the featured video on the home page. It's returning a 400 error for me even if I go directly to the source

It's a recurrent bug. If you want to give another rating, just right click like to open it in a new tab. You will then have an url in your new tab.

You can then just change the number.

2 agree
3 disagree
5 winner
6 informative
7 feels
9 optimistic
11 late
13 autistic
14 dislike
16 mad at the internet
17 dumb
22 drink
25 horrifying
26 semper fidelis
27 deviant
28 trophy (you probably can't use this)
29 tmi
30 islamic content
31 thunkful
32 lunacy

Edit the url in your bar, ta-da, you got your rating.

i created this account today in order to post links to a couple of YouTube videos in the byuu thread. after i made the post, it was hidden for 3 hours pending moderator approval. in that time, people made several subsequent posts in the same thread, going all the way onto the next page.

i worry that some people following a thread most closely would never see such a post because it would be in the past, so to speak - above other posts they had already seen - by the time it got approved. i don't know whether or how often this might be a problem. should posts held for moderator approval be given fresh time stamps, or something, on approval?

Unsure what I did wrong but the redirect from .net to .st possibly failed and exposed what I assume is the hosting company infrastructure or vps ID.

I don't know anything personally about how it's setup but I'm sure anyone with tech knowledge may already know it as it shows up on certain URL scanning websites (partial id match)

Code:
XXXXX-XXX.com/XXXXvisitor/<uuid looking string>/<uuid string>/campaignid=<uuid looking string>/

I didn't want to post the exact URL incase it identifies me to someone other than Null

I think there was a SSL failure as it stated the connection wasn't secure, failed to redirect and game me the URL, my Browser was Firefox focus.
