I agree. He may not “need” the hundreds of millions of dollars he gets from Spotify but for years he was the Fear Factor guy who occasionally was at UFC events. Now he’s being given hundreds of millions of dollars as long as he doesn’t get to have certain people on or if they want to remove certain episodes. He's not going to say no and doesn’t see why he needs to give up nine figure paydays just to have Donald Trump on. Rogan is not a guy of principles, people just assume he is for whatever reason.

I guess I’ve never understood why people think that he has to have Trump on the show. Those two are very different politically speaking and just in terms of interests. I can’t see Trump patiently sitting by while Joe Rogan rambles for five minutes about microdosing DMT. Because that’s how that would turn out.

To be honest, I can't even imagine Trump sitting in the same room with Rogan. I mean, anyone imagining it in their heads would feel it being awkward as hell.
