Jim has always been a bit of a moralfag in a good sense. You could tell when he was dealing with truly abhorrent people, pedos, zoosadists, people like John Money, Daddy O Five, that crazy dentist guy, the Finders cultists, basically anyone who hurts kids or animals that can't defend themselves, the gloves came off and he would get genuinely MATI. I think at some point he mentioned he wanted to become a teacher but never did. This is all congruent with his desire to be a family man.

This stream's been pretty fuckin real. We're all gonna die one day but I feel sad for Jim that his time came before he ever had the chance to have kids.
Yeah, I'm not talking about the actual monsters he targeted, it's more like random non-zoosadist furries, the juggalos on his first channel, etc. The people you mentioned deserved the torch, entirely.

This ancient litch powered by laughter is probably the best thing to come out of late 2000s / early 2010s, Jim is one of those once in a generation personalities that will leave a impression larger then life, Jim is the internets Jonny Appleseed or Davey Crocket.

That being said the last two streams have shown Jim being pretty dark about life failures like Mersh and Ralph, I don’t know if he finally got sick of their shit or maybe they have finally crossed a line in the sand of his either way I think he’s entitled to a little bit of bile in his words at this point.

You're correct, he was going to college to be a teacher, but he got very disgusted with the state of the educational system and nope'd out. He did say that on a stream or two but I can't recall the time frame of when he mentioned it.
I'm pretty sure he mentioned it in a stream with someone else. I'm thinking maybe Josh, maybe David Stay, maybe when he talked to some guy about The Finders (I suspect this is one, since the subject is related to children and so on).

Was it the Nick Fuentes interview?

It was his interview with Brandon Buckingham, actually. I don't have a timestamp off hand but Buckingham also quit the education system after being disgusted by the administrational failures:

Purity Sin’s stream.

He mentioned horror stories from other students who’d sit in on classes and it basically was black kids having no respect for the system and the system itself being powerless to do anything and the kids knowing it and the parents hoping for a payday.

I don't know why it's always Catholicism with these people.
It pretty much comes down to Deus Vult memes on /pol/ circa 2013 and the image of "Traditional Catholicism" as a fundamentally more enduring and legitimate opposition to $CURRENTYEAR as opposed to say, Pastor Bob's Neo-CalvinoBaptist Snakehandling Church (Est. 2002).

And that too

He also mentioned some of the teaching stuff in a stream with Armake21. I think the full stream is lost media like a lot of the stuff from back then. He died way too soon as well.
I remember something like that, said he planned to go to Asia for teaching.
Not sure if that means he has a teaching degree or not, but China do go after new graduates for teaching roles, even if the degrees aren't in teaching.

Is Jim the only streamer from "The Sector" who isn't a narcissistic, selfish piece of garbage, and actually takes into account the other people in his life? Or am I missing some other examples?
I don't consider Jim to be Sektur the way that I don't really consider Josh Sektur. Yeah, there's a lot of overlap, but those two laugh at content. The Sektur is content.

That last stream was mediocre. Also this nigger quietly went from a huge and pompous goodbye stream to more or less regular streams again with really cringe video content from his fat wife. That being said he does sound like shit compared to old times, the sickness story is not fake.
I feel like a huge asshole posting this after now seeing the Sunday stream. My god. Also Mersh content always delivers.

The name change, the Alice in Wonderland Syndrome, the tuberculosis, suggesting docs to look into extremely rare conditions (we know he's named Cogan's syndrome, could be more), the laundry list of meds, the 700+ medical tests, the defensiveness. Jim has had a persistent need to medicalize his problems since childhood. I'm not trying to suggest that he has Munchausen's, or that he is purely a drug seeker (you don't need to go through that much trouble just to get a few opioids), it could be severe health anxiety coupled with good insurance and lazy doctoring. It makes sense he would develop anxiety if he witnessed his mother die of a terminal illness and who knows what else. He needs therapy not more tests, he's literally killing himself with all these pills.

Jim did the right thing not having kids. If you have kids knowing you will soon die or are planning to die like Ralph, you are a selfish piece of gooseshit. A child should not have to spend their formative years watching their father die slowly and painfully in a house that is literally a hospice, and they could also inherit that disease. That's stuff that will fuck a kid up for life and fill their childhood with trauma. Jim experienced that kind of thing with his mother, so he's been in the shoes of that child. He got dealt a bad hand, but he's playing it the best he can.
This kind of logic leads to restrictions on reproductive freedom and bodily autonomy. When you see a person born disabled do you think, "what a piece of shit his parents must be"? Do you think that a pregnant woman whose husband died for any reason should abort because she would be traumatizing the future child? What if a woman froze her husband's sperm before his death from cancer (likely genetic) and wants to have his babies? When does morality end and immorality start? People can make however many babies they want and there is nothing "wrong" or immoral about it (it is potentially moral depending on your world view). The kids will suffer, but that is all nothing compared to the privilege of life. I'd rather suffer than never exist. And let's be real, it's women who choose to have or not have kids. Ralph's exes would have had babies with the first idiot who was willing to fuck them and those men certainly would have been similarly terrible fathers. Women in Israel are literally retrieving dead IDF soldier sperm to make more babies.

1. no, even healthy parents can have a disabled child
2. absolutely not
3. she shouldn't have them

If you can't decide what's right and what's wrong, just follow how nature works. Don't get yourself knocked up in a lab with your dead husband's frozen cum. Also don't kill your baby if you got pregnant while he was still alive. Not that hard, and reasonable.
Jim already knows his kids would likely grow up fatherless and given what shit he's seen on the Internet I don't blame him for thinking that would be a total disaster.

1. you can think whatever you want (even disabled parents can have healthy children too)
2. she can do whatever she wants
3. she can do whatever she wants given the partner's consent (or not, it's not like he's going sue her)
It is actually not that easy to make a judgement call on all of these individual decisions and it completely depends on the circumstances.

Of course I totally get why Jim chooses not to have children, he is incredibly mentally ill, but that is his moral preference nothing objectively righteous about it.

It's moral for people to refrain from exercising their own reproductive freedom if they know in advance their child will grow up disadvantaged and vulnerable and they may not be up to the task of supporting them through it, just like it's moral for people to not exercise their freedom to buy firearms just to murder random people.
Why did you even bother asking any of these questions if your response to any argument is just "lol autonomy". You sound like a reductionist faggot with a bone to pick.

it is never immoral to bring a human life into existence, i really believe that, and i think it ghey to praise someone for being *so brave* and *moral* for doing literally nothing.
