Ralph bailed as a father at the same point in life as most deadbeats - when the kids were young. The measure of men is tested in these earlier years and we see who are the men made of tougher stuff and those that like Ralph can’t take a young kid being around and run for the hills.

They always have the same megalomaniac delusions that when they are older, wealthier and better off that they will “make it up” to the kids but they never do. And worse, they never actually can; there’s a reason for this.

The emotional connections made with your offspring happens in the earlier years and later “imprinting” of you as a father figure doesn’t actually happen. Lots of science on this.

What kids want is love and you being there and it costs nothing more than having a spine.

Jim is the only living daddy Ralph has left, and with the canceraids, he's not sure how long he'll have left. Gunt's probably tore up thinking he won't be able to go see Medicare in hospice, just like he wasn't allowed to see Sandra because he doesn't have any retard goo shots.

I wondered if he was going to try to go after Dax or Rekeita more as his new dad. They must have not been interested. I know there had to be some begging in the DM’s.

Does anyone know the full timeline of daddies? This is far as I know.
