Anthony Cumia's biographer, Johnny Russo, has just written a book where Ant shits all over a bunch of people he's had run-ins with over the years, including StutJo. Cardiff interviewed Johnny and asked him about his interactions with StutJo, as well as some industry insight into how StutJo's book went.

Johnny's feedback about SJ is consistent with many others i.e. he's a manlet and a piece of shit. It's unlikely StutJo made any money from his book other than the $5k advance he was allegedly paid. I say "allegedly" because the publisher has a reputation for being skeezy, and legitimate authors won't go anywhere near them.

Note there's an anecdote about Artie Lange in the first minute, but this is important as it sets up Johnny's SJ stories, or you can skip to about 2 minutes for the SJ material.

Fighting Crazy Cabbie was one of the high points of John's life, so he's gotta be taking this pretty hard. Now he'll have to make a toast to Cabbie every time he talks about the fight, and not just on his podcast.

I found WATP organically because I thought the premise of making fun of bad podcasts would be funny. But I found out quickly that Karl is basically on the same rung as cog. You can tell he takes John very seriously, which is very gay. He’s very boring and doesn’t have any insight. He’s not cut out to be entertaining, he just doesn’t have the personality. The only value I got out of the podcast is seeing funny clips or soundbites i’d not have seen otherwise. I’d say he should lean into making fun of random podcasts, it’s the name of the show. However only his john clips get views, because his audience is tuning into John, not himself.

Karl is the worst part of any podcast he's made. He's not clever or funny, and that's without his John obsession. He brings John up or refers to him in every topic, dedicates half of WATP to his faggot dabbleverse, has a dedicated weekly show to talk about John, and has "emergency broadcast" twice a week.

Every time you watch a content creator, you should ask yourself, are they funny on their own, or it's the content they're reacting to is funny? I thought Cumia was hilarious after his WATP appearances, but that's all StutJo. Even hack Shuli looks okay ribbing on John. He's a cheat code for WATP crew.

They're at the point of engaging people's families and random restaurants in their retard fights. Most rational online people discourage their fans from messing with people, but it seems encouraged by Karl and his tard crew.

That behavior winds up generating content. WATP would still be 50 minutes long if he wasn't "reacting" to everything or rewarding aloggers for antagonizing these retards.
 
I have no idea how this one is more embarrassing than any other StutJo show. Whatever floats your boat, Karl.
