i mean he’s a former presidant and they are already trying to take everything from him and throw him in jail forever, not to mention all the other shit they did over the last 8 years. It's easy to push a tyrant's buttons. It's risky since you know they'll retaliate. But I think in Trump's case, the rewards outweigh the risks.
The majority of the issues actually turned out to be ammunition problems. To be fair the M-16 had a shit tonne of issues when it was first rolled out and it ended up being a fairly decent rifle in the end.
Not to mention he has spent his entire life with it all.Short of killing him they can’t do anything else. There is 0 risk to what Trump is doing.
Almost like there's a lot that can go wrong when you put a small bomb in a confined space, both designed and constructed by the lowest bidder. The majority of the issues actually turned out to be ammunition problems.
That rifle was designed by people hired for competency and merit, and had come out of WW2.To be fair the M-16 had a shit tonne of issues when it was first rolled out and it ended up being a fairly decent rifle in the end.
They have gone back to before Vietnam era on that then.I guess it saves on weight given the new rifle and ammunition is heavier, but that seems like a low amount of firepower for a modern rifle, especially when we have a 17-round standard magazine for the pistol.
If any autists would like more info, here is today's convective outlook from the National Weather Service.Kentucky Gov. Andy Beshear has declared a state of emergency. The Ohio River Valley is expected to get buttfucked by a tornado outbreak today and tonight.
Severe weather but nothing extraordinary, IMO....SUMMARY...
A severe weather outbreak is possible through this evening over the Ohio Valley with the broader severe weather risk including parts of the Southeast. Strong and potentially long-track tornadoes are possible from Indiana and Ohio southward into the Mid South. A threat for strong tornadoes may focus this evening into tonight across parts of Alabama and Georgia.

A big part of why is case geometry. Rifle cases tend to taper before the neck so as they stack they tend to curve. Curved mags and mag springs tend to do funny things to reliability. Its more pronounced of a problem with longer cases. Most common ar-10 and G3 mags are 20 rounders as well, as the .277 fury/6.8 NGSW ammo becomes more common and the boots on the ground bitch about muh 30-rounders expect the after market to pick up the slack like Mec-gar did with the 18 round M-9 mags.I guess it saves on weight given the new rifle and ammunition is heavier, but that seems like a low amount of firepower for a modern rifle, especially when we have a 17-round standard magazine for the pistol.
They have made 100 round AK mags, pretty incredible.A big part of why is case geometry. Rifle cases tend to taper before the neck so as they stack they tend to curve. "New", yes. SIG took 7.62mm NATO, necked it down to 6.8mm, and then changed the dimensions of the cartridge case juuust enough so its technically a brand new round. Wildcatters have already done something similar, and you could probably safely fire those same wildcat designs out of a gun chambered in this. Also, Kiwis need to keep in mind there's two different versions of this round intended for the military: one with the steel base that's for 80,000 PSI, and a low-pressure version that's just plain brass for qualifications and training. There will be ammo for this gun on the civilian market. It's a new cartridge, 6.8
Much like 5.7, it will be expensive as fuck at first, but military driving production means its availability will become accelerated. (e.g. we'll start seeing price drops in a decade as the services saturate and the plants start selling surplus to stay open like they do with 5.56)
Many such cases. The US Gov loves to throw troops into meat grinders with weapons that...might work.To be fair the M-16 had a shit tonne of issues when it was first rolled out and it ended up being a fairly decent rifle in the end.
I'm just interested in how this doesn't end up with the pressure blowing out along the seam where the "steel base" is attached.two different versions of this round intended for the military: one with the steel base that's for 80,000 PSI
For all I know they just use thinner brass in that area and then put a steel jacket over it. That's how I would do it. All they need is for the base of the round to withstand the pressure spike from the initial combustion since once the projectile starts making its way down the barrel you get a massive pressure drop due to the increased volume, even with powder that does a full burn until it leaves.I'm just interested in how this doesn't end up with the pressure blowing out along the seam where the "steel base" is attached.
Fuck.. maybe I shouldn't ask.. I'm expecting some level of 737 maxx magic words.
It's a different doctrine of rifle, like the M1 or M14. It's a Battle Rifle not an assault rifle, focusing on single shots(though this does have auto, it'll probably be used a lot less than the M4/16) at longer range and with more power.I guess it saves on weight given the new rifle and ammunition is heavier, but that seems like a low amount of firepower for a modern rifle, especially when we have a 17-round standard magazine for the pistol.
The big deal with the round is the case, using a hybrid of steel base and brass sidewalls. It's just to give the case the strength at the base for the crazy pressure they pumped into it. 0.277 Fury is all brass iirc. The round is like .17hmr or 5.7, crazy high muzzle velocity for better accuracy."New", yes. What, you Kiwis expected brilliance as opposed to an overcomplicated bare minimum with a massive price tag attached? In today's US military?
Trump's campaign and his supporters have thrust the homicide into the national spotlight because Garcia's accused killer, Brandon Ortiz-Vite, 25, reportedly entered the country illegally from Mexico after an earlier deportation. Police have described the killing as one involving domestic violence.
"She was dating him," Hansen said. "It's not like she was kidnapped."
Liberals are reflexively defending this shitbag.“This young lady was a victim of domestic violence. That’s what we need to talk about with this incident. Not the anti-immigrant rhetoric that is permeating with candidate Trump.”
Gema Lowe, a leader of the group, said the killing that Trump has seized on is not representative of the immigrant community. "The young lady was a victim of domestic violence," Lowe said. "That's what we need to talk about."
Gema Lowe is an undocumented Mexican immigrant
Ruby Garcia had dated Ortiz-Vite before she was killed late on a Friday night. State police said she was shot in her 2023 Mazda 3. He admitted he shot her, then walked around the vehicle and shot her in the head.
He pulled her body out and left her n the west shoulder of U.S. 131, he told police.
It's not like he kidnapped her or anything. An illegal alien just bodied someone and dumped them on the side of the road. Why the clamor?Police say Ortiz-Vite was in possession of a 9 mm pistol, and he told them he purchased the firearm illegally.
"Just don't have Trump be president; Taylor Swift is better," said Blake, who wasn't able to attend any of the pop icon's concerts when she toured Michigan recently, but said she saw the Swift concert film, "The Eras Tour," with her mom.
Teresa Robertson, of Caledonia, said that when her children attend political demonstrations with her, she lets them decide what protest signs they will carry. The November election is "a family issue for me," she said, because she feels putting Trump in the White House would be an insult to her husband, who served in the military, to her son, who identifies as LGBTQ, and to her, a doula who said she works with women who have endured stillbirths after being pressured not to have an abortion.
“I stand before you today to declare that Joe Biden’s border bloodbath — and that’s what it is, it’s a bloodbath, they tried to use that term incorrectly on me two weeks ago,” Trump began his remarks in Grand Rapids, referring to a recent controversy over identical comments about the consequences of Biden’s election for America’s auto industry.
The 77-year-old then addressed the murder of 25-year-old Ruby Garcia, who was found fatally shot on the side of a highway on March 22.
Ortiz-Vite has been charged in Kent County with felony murder, open murder, carjacking, carrying a concealed weapon and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
I guess that bloodbath thing against Trump didn't work out so well. He chewed that up and spit it back in their faces. lol.In conjunction with the rallies, the Trump campaign launched a BidenBloodbath.com website, focusing on President Biden’s border policies while doubling down on the 45th president’s grim rhetoric.
“He is allowing vicious criminals into the United States, and innocent Americans across the country are paying the price,” the site reads. “Lethal drugs, cartels, gangs, and terrorists are taking advantage of the crisis to enter the US and threaten America. This is an invasion aided and abetted by Joe Biden, supported by Democrats who vote for his dangerous and cruel policies. This is Biden’s border bloodbath.”
“This is country changing," Trump said of a surge in migrants at the U.S-Mexico border in recent years. "It's country threatening. And it’s country wrecking. They have wrecked our country."
Trump said Tuesday if he doesn't win the presidency in November, it could be the "last election" the country has. It wasn't clear what he was basing that statement on.
"Democrats say, 'Please, don't call them animals. They're humans.' I say no, they're not humans," Trump said. "They're not humans. They're animals."
"Nancy Pelosi told me that," Trump added, referencing the California congresswoman and former House speaker. "She said, 'Please don't use the word animals when you're talking about these people.' I said, 'I'll use the word animal because that's what they are.'"
It's really quiet extraordinary how the Democrats collective ego's could get so large when their as fragile as glass. He was supposed to keep giving them money and supposed to support the democratic party.
