If someone gave me ownership of their pet with the understanding it was mine now, and they came hurpling back to my doorstep later asking for it back, I would be extremely hesitant to give it back. Dog, cat, horse, guinea pig, gecko, whatever. And it wouldn’t matter who that person was.
I agree 100%, but Chantal has a habit of saying something affirmative before she even has a plan, if that makes sense.
Even young, social, energetic cats like Sam go through a lot of shock moving homes. It's in a cat's best interest not to have them move homes all the time.
She said that the new owner's cat doesn't get along with Sam. If you've ever own two cats before, you'd be aware that they show affection differently, especially if they're both the same gender.
But even if the cats don't get along fully, they can still live together.
I have two male cats that frequently fight and hiss at each other, but they were sharing a bed together today; they also groom each other frequently and eat beside each other.
Also being assholes in general is just how cats socialize - have you seen a mother cat bitch slap her own babies?? Lol
For Sam's sake, i hope she doesn't get him back.
And for the sake of everyone's sanity here, I hope she doesn't get him back because god knows we can sperg about felines until doomsday. LMFAO
