Don't remind me about Red Room. One of the few comics of the last couple of years that I was honestly 100% hyped for when it was being released. Was super pissed off when he ended it (and ending it with massive number of cliffhangers as well) last year and now I'm torn from being pissed off that the series is now 100% dead with Ed and the the shameful relief of knowing that a hypothetical volume four won't be lost media due to his death and the inevitable blacklisting of his works from Fantographic Press making them refuse to release any issues they might have had ready to publish or that any hypothetical volume four will never be finished.

Dorkin's a shit stain fraud who calls all comic fans monsters and incels while creating Eltingville purely to shit on comic fans who rightfully called one of his BFFS (Dan Vado) a woman hating asshole for the way he vindictively killed off Ice in his Justice League run, purely because he couldn't stand the idea that Ice was the most popular member of the team he was writing within the JLI fanbase. And then used his pull within the industry to get his friends at DC to declare her permanently dead until Gail Simone ended up using all of her political capital at the time, to beg DC to let her bring her back.

I was also excited for the series. I ordered the first issue off Fanta when it was first announced, especially since it seemed that Fantagraphics was going back to focus on underground comics. Especially when the company was releasing stuff by Johnny Ryan and the Fukitor collection, but that was short lived. There is a Trade Paperback collection of the Crypto Killaz series, and the cover of the 4th volume stated that it was the end. Maybe there's a note from Ed on the TP that goes into what the future of the series would've been. If you're missing the last issues of the series, they're easily available on ebay and the prices aren't inflated.

Evan took to twitter/x for a pity party after being called out. Ed was a better artist than Evan, so that lead to his petty hatred of Piskor. I mentioned it a few pages ago, but Evan always had trouble drawing eyes on his characters. Maybe his wife Sarah helped out with trying to draw them. I refuse to believe that someone in the New York Punk and Ska scene would be this much of a pussy, but you'd be surprised. The music and comic scene are full of opportunists and traitors. I rolled my eyes at that last line of his: "I hope he comes home and talks more shit about me." Ridiculous. He sure wasn't acting this way when he was attacking him with De Campi. Speaking of that twat, did she just delete her tweets and act as if nothing happened?

This AKAPAD guy hid or deleted all his recent Ed Piskor videos. Except one that is just flipping thru Piskor's Red Room with comments off. He was going extremely hard at Ed the whole week. A lot of people were pissed in his comments blaming "AKAPAD" and was roasted here by Hart D Fisher

It's not that exactly. He knew he was fucked when the fully adult Molly Wright jumped on the bandwagon with her terrifying tale of Ed Piskor trying to get his dick sucked. Not only did this push things into "multiple women territory" as Piskor put it, it was done with absolutely ZERO evidence and was believed totally. Wright was getting expressions of sympathy because she said a man wanted to get a blowjob. He didn't pull his dick out or physically try to fuck her mouth without consent. He just (allegedly) brought it up.
At least Dwyer came forward with some DMs. All Molly Wright had was a dumb story about a guy who tried to get a blowjob. To top it off she also claimed he shit on Jim Rugg and was claiming he'd somehow falsified the sales figures for Red Room. It clearly was a career destroying move, it didn't need "proof" or "receipts".

I'm inclined to believe that Molly Dwyer's DMs were the absolute worst ones she could find, or else why even drop them? Again, she went out of her way after the initial post to say that she wasn't actually groomed, just that she "felt like he was trying" to groom her. The important difference in those two scenarios would be that the 18 year old slut would have all the legal rights & abilities of an adult if she did get pregnant or a risky disease. She would also be able to get a job without child-labor restrictions to support herself/baby & not be solely dependent on family support/government handouts.
A 16 year old is still under the legal care of her parents, & until recently in some places (degenerate places,) would have to have parents with her to have an abortion or any medical treatment, & the parents would have to still house the daughter & her baby if the grown man knocked her up before 18.

I hope I don't come off as too morbid, but Ed's suicide note is ironically brimming with life. The cadence of his sentences, the affable sardonic and brittle humor... I read every word and a part of me mourns over the fact that I will never read anything else from him. His brother's condemning post is just as well written in a same manner - a part of me wants this whole thing to be a whole joke at everyone's expense, and the whole thing is just a middle finger and Ed is still alive.

They have a way with words, or had in Ed's case, and as a reader, I can't help but to now want to check out Ed's past works. (Yeah, I hadn't in the past.)
