Predators go where the prey is. It might surprise you to learn that parents aren't watching, and the predators know that. So my advice, to any young or old man, is to not to fuck around. It's never a bad thing to ask the age of someone you're speaking with on the internet, and if you find that you're more than 20 years apart, you shouldn't be talking to that younger person unless you're paid to.
I do appreciate the desire for a high trust society, I am 100% behind that way of thinking, but reality skews toward abuse. I don't like inviting trouble, and interacting with minors when you're not paid to do so, is inviting trouble.

With how much of a nothingburger all of the accusations toward Piskor are, I feel like he must have been afraid of something much worse that he'd done.
And we might never know about it now that he's dead.

These situations tend to avalanche into more and more people coming forward, after all.
That aspect of the situation was already starting at the time.

I know basically nothing about the dude. From what I gather here, this seems like a nothingburger. But at the same time, there is something to say about losing one's reputation. And to be considered/called a [child] rapist. To then lose friends, colleagues, and maybe family over an accusation. Being left with little to no support system. Heck, guys will kill themselves over just losing a job and feel like they're useless since they can't feed their family anymore. Having people think of you as a child rapist all the time would be draining to the point you just give up. While I would like to think I'd be strong enough to not kill myself over an accusation. Depending on the accusation, there really is no way to know what I would do if it did happen to me. Particularly if I'm getting attacked from all sides.

But you're right, there could be more to this. But if this ends up being nothing more than it made people feel icky. I hope they feel proud of themselves.

I think either he didn't know what they were saying, or he didn't care what they were saying. All indications seem to be Piskor didn't care much about CG. This seemed to be a one-sided fight in that respect.

Whereas the people he did mention in his note were more closely involved with what he was dealing with.

I wish I could say CG's irrelevancy to what happened will continue after Piskor's death but, unfortunately, there's a lot of people out there with more money than brains, and the grift machine has once again kicked into high gear.
