Somewhat off-topic, but since we were talking about The Matrix earlier, I'll just post this here: apparently they are planning to make a new one, but with an actual good director this time, and the Wachowskis reduced to an "executive producer" role (which means jack shit).
(I'll just come out and say it, I welcome this news. The first Matrix was a great fucking movie, and I'm tired of pretending it's not. I watched it at just the right age, I think I was 12 or 13 at the time. I don't mean it in a derogatory way like "this movie is for retarded babies", but it was the right age for still being wide-eyed and impressionable while being old enough to get it. I had no clue what William Gibson, Akira, or the Dark City was, and I did not care. The movie was the fucking bomb.)

While I don't have a good opinion of Correia, he definitely judged the situation correctly in not kicking the fuck out of Patrick. Just not worth the hassle at an event like that.
Too bad, though. I don't think Larry would have had to do much. Patrick's likely never had his ass kicked before so I'll bet something like a decent hook to the cheek or even just a sharp shove that knocked him on his ass would have shut him down entirely. Then Larry would have written his next book where the main character that totally isn't him straight wrecks an enormously obese, short pig demon with 8 pendulous teats.

If Patrick was as drunk as Larry claimed a simple bladder shot would have been enough to take him out. Though that does mean Patrick becomes an Oro in the future but that's okay because "he's into things"
