hlo fellow kiwi farm i have been going thru issue in recent where downstairs i hear like, quiet screaming??

Does it ever move or does it always come from the same place? One time I heard something similar but when I'd check on it I'd hear it from a different room or I'd hear mocking laughter from a different room. I spent all night going room to room trying to find who was in my house. In the end it turned out that a corticosteroid a doctor had prescribed induced psychosis and I was hallucinating. It was bonkers.

pepperoni being made in the basement

otherwise, if you can hear it under the floor of the ground level, maybe it's some animal living in the foundation of your house or some shit
there was one in the foundation of my house once that would made noise at particular hours of the morning but otherwise was silent (or maybe absent) the rest of the day

Be as skitzo as possible, and bark like a dog on rabies.

Noise hasnt started yet but its getting close to the time where it more or less does, will keep you updated.

Nothing yet, my dogs just keep barking nothing of note really, I'll take them inside the house in a bit and see if anything changes,
I dont think its quiet enough to many cars driving since alot of cars are driving by due to nonelaboratable locational reasonings my next post in this thread will be when the noise starts.

Had this type of paranoia happen too me also. Holy fuckin shit corticosteroids are terrible.

I used to have a family of coons in the attic. They would scuttle and laugh and eventually we had to call pest control. The worst part is they came back to squat the next year so my dad put a bunch of nails on the fence so they couldn't climb on the roof. We had to get a new vent.

Leave some peanut butter out and try and trap it.

I have two dogs and while the sound is 'dogly' in nature
it could be coyotes or bobcats ; they both sound exactly like 'screaming dogs'

You've probably got one living downstairs.

They tend to be squatters since they have no money (or opposable thumbs). You're going to have to take them to housing court. Sorry.

Whatever it is I hope your neighbors don't have someone chained up in their basement.
