if you are of the same mindset as the post above, and even jokingly call yourself a pedophile or revel in art/media that depicts the domination of something small and helpless you're fucked in the head. Most well adjusted humans are wired to respond to children, small animals, small things with big eyes by trying to protect/nurture them. If you don't have that in your brain you're fucked up.

that being said who gives a fuck if an adult watches a cartoon or melanated men playing with balls? its stupid to psychoanalyze that stuff. everyone was a kid at some point and revisiting things from your childhood, old movies, cartoons, is just natural.

Uzaki is like 20. What gets me is that they reee about a drawing but then go, drag queen story hour for 5 year olds, now that's fine. Having a tranny swing his dong around in a preschool is fine with them, but a 15 year old drawing, which is just a drawing, is too much.

The whole 18 thing is americans just wanting to spread their culture everywhere. But at least soyteens who want all anime banned are consistent, they want burkas, and I can respect their rigidity.

But no matter how halal the drawing gets, it is just that. A drawing. Priests, teachers, democrats all do worse to children that are... actually children, not drawings on paper. Don't consume media that becomes a moral dilemma, that's a starting point. If you've got to sit down and have a talk about how what you're doing is definitely fine because reasons, my initial assumption is that what you're doing is questionable at best.

If you're jacking off to something and you have to ask if what you're seeing represents a child, that's far enough past the line that you shouldn't be consuming it at all.

I'm not splitting hairs, I'm not making a moral concessions for hedonistic pleasures.

Because people want an excuse to feel superior to others, Much like the leftist who dedicates his life to moral outrage over nothing, There will be those who have to pearl clutch about the poor innocent drawings and lines of code. Maybe they have nothing else going for them in life so this is what makes them feel special.

These are the same people who would get their panties in a twist over violent video games, comic books and rock n roll.

An FPS game doesn’t cause mass shootings but it does attract a certain audience of people, typically younger males, with "edgier” humour that enjoy larping as masculine war hero figures. It might even attract a disproportionate amount of mass shooter who live out their fantasies in a game before carrying out the real thing, but it would be disingenuous to say that the game is what made them violent in the first place.

The only audience that lolicon image can attract, are people who seek out drawing of childlike figure and jerk off to it, like videogames don’t exist soley for people to goon to it. I don’t think lolicon causes the existence of more paedos per se but it certainly attracts a disproportionate amount of them to it. And if you spend a good chunk of your free time consuming, posting, or defending explicit drawing of kids in which your main defense is >“Well it’s not REAL child porn tho! What about REAL CP that’s WORSE!” then I’m not going to trust you around children.
Yeah obviously drawing are objectively not as bad as real CSAM material, but is it really crazy to think that lolicons are just people who find a way to circumvent that by latching onto the closest thing to it that’s not outright illegal?

The whole idea of an age of consent is so odd. "This woman look easily 22 and is trying to ride this 18 year old dude, but she's 17 and 18 in ~2 months. We must wait for this arbitrary measurement or face ultimate judgement". I'm pro age of consent but you gotta admit, time being an identifier of adulthood is silly at times.
