You joke, but there are people that actually believe this. The phrase, “traps aren’t gay,” was a meme not long ago because people would claim that it doesn’t matter if an anime character or actual person has a penis because they otherwise present as female. It’s stupid and makes no sense, but that’s the kind of insidious obfuscation that fags and pedos rely on to produce more fags and pedos from the unwitting. Inb4 you're a pedo for even asking the question, but it just seems like such a weird disconnect between how the rest of media is handled. If you want to call it creepy, you're absolutely right. It is. It's just not a 1:1 link with a person who would commit horrific crimes.
