"I know there are colleagues of mine who both post frequently about the Christian faith with cool little verses and shit and they go on shows and they talk about very strong values about ,like, porn or whatever"

Any idea who he means?
If you asked me this question even a week ago, I would have probably said Gosney.

It could still be Gosney, I suppose. Gosney is kinda weird in that he'll express his Christian views on some things, but not others. Not to beat a dead horse, but it's just weird to me that the guy who bitches out Branca for saying "goddamn," suddenly gets cold feet when it comes to countering Nick's Easter stream. Branca did a minor booboo. Nick went full on heretic. It's weird.

The only other person I can think of that wears their faith openly like that is Doug TenNapel, but Doug is another one whose sincerity I have expressed doubts over. I am cynical about most people these days.

Hell, the funny thing is that Nick is also describing Nick from 3-4 years ago. He used to express pretty strong views against porn himself.

I watched the Gosney stream and it’s Gosney ignoring anyone in his chat giving him commentary on Nick to shill his book. The times he talks about Nick he draws out his thoughts for no real reason and kinda speaks generally about Christian concepts. It’s him shilling his book rather than addressing the stream in any manner that’s notable or amusing for drama.

Gosney is a newer convert, but I really despise people who try to do a Christian self-help books without having read the Church Doctors. Suma Theologia is an omnibus for the philosophy of the Church. As a fucking lawyer he should at least leaf through it. It is still highly influential in his field, it’s hugely influential on the Death Penalty as a concept.
Him not knowing the what the Sanhedrin, the Pharisees, Saducees, Essenes, or what Zealots (the sect) were pisses me off. It’s barely below surface level, it’s the first thing when you start seriously studying the Bible.

Agreed. I don't really know much about Gosney but I also find this weird.

Is he afraid of backlash from Nick?

Does he have some misplaced sense of loyalty towards him?

Is he afraid of Nick 'wishing him a million dollars' if he makes any public criticism?

Or is it just as simple as self-interest? That Gosney hopes to use Nick's audience to sell his new book?

I'm always extremely skeptical of Christians that loudly proclaim their Christianity while trying to sell me something.

I watched the last ten minutes of it or so, and at one point he was saying that Nick's critics need to examine what they are putting their faith in, and whether it's something like money or power (I'm paraphrasing).

He projects Nick's apparent values on Nick's critics. He doesn't acknowledge that Nick's views on Jesus might cause genuine offense to Christians. Which is why, I suspect, he didn't want to address what Nick said at all.

I know there's some people making money off this shitshow, but probably not many. That's not how the Farms works, for example. Most people are just genuinely disgusted with him and have an interest in sharing their feelings on the matter.

Some of us are putting our faith in Christ, which is precisely why (as you point out) we’re not particularly pleased with Nick right now.

Gosney needs his head checked. I understand that he’s a poorly catechized Catholic - he seems like a milquetoast Weigel reader type at best - he may need a good refresher course.

I just gone done power watching Gosney's "rekieta response" stream. It was a bit limp-wristed, but my takeaway was, he doesn't have internet friends. Which is something Daddy Jim has also said. I have a feeling if Nick were an IRL friend of Steve's, matters would be different but also not on stream. His relationship with Nick is much more transactional. Which, fair enough. Nick uses guests for content (that he doesn't prep for).

The level of e-daddy-ness in this thread is still dumb-founding at times (or lack thereof). Faggots babbling into a webcam (or a $5000 Sony cam) probably aren't going to be pillars of the moral community. Lawyers doubly so.

I don't necessarily disagree, and I have become cynical like this too, but I can't blame people for expressing some minor disappointment every time they see this happen. Somebody expresses moral principles in a low risk situation, but then acts completely different when they are faced with a situation where applying those same moral principle might cause them difficulty.

Nobody here is chomping at the bit to start a Gosney thread. They're just saying, "well that sucks, reset the clock."

Besides, I think there might have been some hope for Gosney, relative to other streamers, because this Internet thing is a side gig for him. Unlike Nick, Gosney is actually a successful lawyer.

He did confirm this at one point while reciting what was supposedly said by the adult. He didn't witness the interaction and was told about it after the fact by his very disruptive child.
Yeah yeah yeah cry me a river you skeletal faggot, everyone you run into just disapproves of you for no reason, it's not like you're a contemptible, degenerate piece of shit. No, it is absolutely everyone else who is wrong, not the Almighty Balldo Man.

It's everyone else who are the Karens, though, for expecting his retard kid to act like a human being and not chimp out.

Children are usually in the wrong. Full stop. Why does he distrust the adult so much if jot for other faggy reasons? They are not claiming no-no touch abuse.

So what if a teacher yelled at them a bit too harshly? It happens in life to adults, and this sounds like one of his teen children could learn a lesson from it.

Gosney? Seems weird to say this while the man is coming on your show, but this is pickled brain Nick...

In the extended sphere he used to move in there was Melonie Mac, Brittany Venti, and Sean has had a few DISCORD takes on Nick's heresy. Maybe some of that is making it back to him?

I could have sworn he was a life-long Catholic. I could be wrong, and they was probably the basis for my liking of him

Like Joe the Jew, he does like to pontificate too much. There is a place for airy philosophical discussions, but not on YouTube. It makes you look like a pompous buffoon--even if you are sincere.

That was just to swindle his audience by selling them a fake version of himself. At least that's what he says now.

WHAT!? You AREN'T happy he is able to be HIMSELF and be TRUE to who he is!?

You probably are an incel prude from Scandanavia that is a virgin and autitisic too.

Most of Nick’s critics are ex-fans who got disgusted by his awful sex jokes and increasingly shitty behavior.

It got worse when it became apparent to people who hung out with him on other streams for culture war or whatever. It’s not just his fans or anti-fans, Nick alienated a lot of people his behavior. Potentially Criminal and Mindset have acknowledged he’s a jackass and stated they don’t want to make some public bullshit out of a guy they considered a friend.
Gosney is either willfully ignorant of it, too busy to see, or defensive for people he see’s as a friend. His counter-arguments are just devoid of anything substantial because he refuses to engage or admit Nick faulted somewhere.

@AnOminous He at some point appealed to some bullshit about “I defend murders and I’ve seen evil” in response to people saying Rekieta’s in a bad way. Faggiest goddamn argument I’ve ever heard, are all public defenders this gay?

Brittany Venti?!?!

For reals?

Wow.

Again, it's just so funny to me that you got crass (in a funny way) Internet personalities who normally don't discuss religion all that much saying "WTF, Nick?!", while Gosney is telling people that we should ignore Nick's blasphemous verbal diarrhea and buy his smut book.

I feel like I'm in clown world. Like everybody is responding the opposite way of what their external persona might suggest.

Nick: *sudden interest* "WELL MAYBE SHE HAD A SCAT FETISH!"
Diaper fetish! Get it right, incel prude!

EDIT: Typos.

My perspective on gosney as a visitor to the farms:

"oh look it's a duck! hi duck! say quack!"
MOO
"oh ffs! It's another cow!"

:story:
Do you think he would go to Animal Control and be like 'why are people so mean to this guy, sure he's wearing a neon green squirrel costume, eats poop, and is doing weird things to eels, but hey we should uplift each other'?

What happened: his child got yelled at and had to stay after class for talking over the teacher. He or she was told that their family would be disappointed by how rude they were behaving.

Nick is a lying liar who lies and so a story from his child relayed to us on stream is certainly an exaggeration of the real event. I would find it hard to believe that anyone was literally yelled at, so he must mean the child was at worst scolded. Maybe Nicki's self diagnosed ODD has been passed onto the children. Hopefully no Transformer toys were confiscated.

I get being very defensive of your child, but why not talk to the youth ministry woman and find out exactly what happened and what was said before publicly blasting her and undermining her authority with your own child. It makes sense why the child is rude if you have Nick undermining the authority of others trying to teach proper manners and behavior.

It's actually sad that Nicki doesn't understand why Scandinavian Karen prudes don't want children talking over them and that it's not acceptable to be swearing and watching porn or whatever else he was arguing for in his rant.

Nick's breaks are about talking to his wife. "When you go to bed at a different time than your spouse, you take every chance you get to connect with them. That's how I do things... sorry!"

With his talk about BDSM and wanting his sex dungeon and St. Andrew's cross, I submit that it's during the break that Kayla lets him out of his cuck cage as she will be sleeping and/or passed out from her loopy pills by the time the stream is over.

This degenerate follows Russian BDSM accessory shops, Jamaican Hedonism II bulls, prostitutes and Argentinian BDSM hotels.
Edit: my bad, Brazilian.
(Really, same failed shitty state full of weird trannies.)

He also carries a "field kit".

He's more degenerate than most libertine nihilist sex addicts.

So this explains a lot. And yet he proceeded to have five of them. Make it make sense.
Noticed in the will of his maternal grandfather, that was posted a day or two ago ITT, there were stipulations about dividing proceeds after the main beneficiary, his wife, & after the three children of Mr.Owen (the grandpa in question). That once the leftover is divided into 3rds, giving 1/3 to Rekietas mom, leftover was to be divided to their own beneficiaries, with a clause about number of children. This is just a small detail that caught my notice as it’s clear Nick gets no joy from having children, so perhaps it has more significance on those millions of family dollars? The children number clause interests me as much as the generational skipping clause. One day I’d like to go though that last will & testament to clearly read the fine print. Honestly hoping someone else does it first.

I carry a “field kit” of get home stuff I’ve built off previous experiences having negative outcomes with traveling/survival/get home to cover scenarios (having your car flip in a blizzard because of another driver losing control and help not arriving for hours sucks). Horrified to know he put together an entire field kit that surpasses any gooner emergency session and probably built together by previous failed degenerate discovery and revelations.

Keep it classy 🥃 :really:
