  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Occam’s razor did kind of suggest it went down as claimed, and now there it is written in black and white in the embassy’s duty log.

The guy had his reasons and his emails being published and not being able to put the genie back in the bottle seems to have been the final straw, unfortunate as that is.

Pretty sad reading, really. “He never travelled outside his home and did not have a favorite place”.
The logs are brutal because they're from a 3rd party. And honestly I'm not surprised. I skimmed them. It reeks of government. It's not fake. I'd put money on it.

How does that line up with Marcan’s story?
I'll leave it to someone else to match up timestamps between Marcan's posts and the official records, but it seems like his story didn't really make a difference either way. The police already knew something was up, multiple people reported the suicide, and nobody bothered looking into whether Marcan's story was literally true in its details. Nobody pulled the phone logs to see if a call between Marcan and Byuu really took place from an hour before his death to an hour after, nobody checked his Ipod for stupid French music, etc. It just didn't matter.
Marcan was neither the first nor the last to report it so all we can say is that he didn't spearhead the suicide plan all the way through.

So, what does this mean for us?
Nothing, any damage it could have caused to the forum happened a long time ago, the most that will happen is a few smug posts from Twitter and Reddit users. I’m surprised Hector hasn’t said anything about being right yet, but maybe he realizes how much in bad taste it would be. (:optimistic:)

Friend seen me reading kiwifarms and made a comment about how this website "hurts" people.
I responded by telling the friend that nothing happens on this website that doesn't happen by many many orders of magnatude more so on facebook, x/twitter, discord, snapchat, instagram, etc.
No offense to any one here, no matter how hard this website could ever try if it wanted to, the forums could never out do any of those sites in harassments leading to suicide.
The larger media and wider public just doesn't care about those sites because its just seen as a giant thing that there's nothing that can be done about.
I've seen plenty of smaller media like local television network news do stories of local kids bullied into suicide via social media and just from those reports I've seen, kiwifarms will never be able to catch up or surpass.

But god speed.

OK, so let's put together the Byuu story as best we can.

Jun 24, 2021: Byuu shows up at work for the last time. (But he was mostly remote anyway)

Jun 27, 15:30: An unknown person calls the embassy to warn about an impending suicide, based on Byuu's suicidal Twitter posting.
Jun 27, 16:37: An American living in Osaka emails the embassy. (Marcan lives in Tokyo now - was that true at the time too?) Claims a Frenchman in Tokyo had also contacted the local police.
Jun 27, 17:00: Someone (presumably Marcan) calls and tells the "I listened to him die" story. Claims that he talked to Byuu for about an hour that day starting at 11:11, and then listened to his French music for another hour.
Jun 27, 19:10: Someone from the Netherlands calls with more personal info about Byuu. Claims to have called the local police.
Jun 27, 19:45: Embassy emails Byuu to check on him
Jun 27, late afternoon and night: Arakawa Police try twice to visit or peek into Byuu's apartment but were unable. They suspect the power might be cut off for nonpayment.
Jun 27, night: Consulate tries multiple times to call Byuu at several phone numbers. An unspecified woman also tries emailing him and calling the police - the police tell her they had already been there unsuccessfully.

Jun 28, 08:53: Consulate calls Arakawa Police. Police say that they are aware of the case and will contact the property managers to unlock the room.
Jun 28, 10:34 to 11:09: Someone calls and emails the consulate claiming to know Byuu's US address. The consulate tries to call back but doesn't get a response. They end up just emailing him asking for any further info.
Jun 28, 13:15: Arakawa Police enter Byuu's apartment and find him hanging in the kitchen/living room, dead. They move the body to the police station; take his keys, cards, and phone; and lock the apartment.
Jun 28, 15:20: Consulate tries to call Byuu and the husband again. Another employee learns the police are onsite.
Jun 28, 15:59: Consulate on the phone with police, learn that Byuu is dead.

Jun 29: Embassy sends letter of condolence to Byuu's husband via email
Jun 29, 04:41: Husband replies and starts correspondence with embassy.
Jun 29: 09:26: Embassy completes a phone call with the husband
Jun 29, during the day: Embassy informs Arakawa Police that they are in touch wiht the husband. Embassy calls "the employer/POC at work" who is willing to help. Unable to contact landlord.
Jun 29, 12:02: Consulate gets in touch with someone at Cyber Gadget (probably "Hiromi", but unconfirmed - see below) who is reluctantly willing to be the local point of contact. He worked with Byuu for 2+ years and helped him get a Japanese visa, but didn't see him very often because Byuu mostly worked remote.

Jun 30, 09:04: Arakawa Police inform embassy that they are examining the body with the Tokyo Medical Examiner's office, want to know if the husband wants an autopsy.
Jun 30, during the day: Consulate informs police to go ahead with autopsy. Consulate gets in touch with the landlord, deals with bureaucracy about winding up the lease, bank accounts, etc.

Jul 2: After more correspondence, the husband sends over his "letter of instruction' for the remains. He claims to have found a funeral home that will cremate Byuu and scatter the ashes in Tokyo Bay. At first he wanted "Hiromi" (his point of contact in Japan) to do this but

Jul 14: Arakawa Ward issues an official Japanese death certificate.

Jul 15: Cremation scheduled.

Jul 16: Embassy requests postmortem report from Japanese medical examiners.

Jul 23, 13:45: Byuu's mother-in-law (the husband's mother) calls the consulate asking for confirmation about the suicide. She had apparently talked to her son but didn't get a clear answer because he was "going through a lot". Consulate will call her back.

Jul 27: Consulate tries a few times to call the mother-in-law but doesn't get a hold of her.

Aug 2: Japanese medical examiners complete their postmortem report, and send it out the following day.

Aug 3: Embassy sends someone (presumably the husband) a "preliminary death report" and a copy of the Japanese report. They say the cause of death is unknown pending autopsy, but that doesn't match up with what's on the Japanese form. I assume this is just sloppiness or the person preparing the message not being able to read Japanese.

Aug 13: Consulate receives autopsy from Japanese police.

Dec 20, 2022: "Simohamed Benbattouche" submits a FOIA request that the government for once doesn't ignore
Oct 16, 2023: Government sends documents back in response to the FOIA.
How does that line up with Marcan’s story?
Don't forget the urn sent to his boss that MSM reported on.
A question, because I genuinely don't know:

When did the urn first figure into all of this? Was it before or after Jun 15 (which by "Cremation scheduled", I understand it's the date he was cremated).

Congratulations KF! +1 more life lost and several lives impacted because you guys are uncapable of being decent human beings.
The only person responsible for Byuu's death is Byuu. He knotted the noose, placed the chair and put the rope around his neck. No one coerced him into doing any of that. It's unbelievable that you could point the finger anywhere else.

The most ironic thing about all of this is the fact that the same people who used to consrantly say that they will never forget Byuu, forgot about Byuu. This forum is the only place on the internet where people still care about him, dead or alive. People who used his death to censor this forum while harassing DDoS company employees and their families are nowhere to be found now after this sad news.
This forum is the only place online where people actually wanted him to be alive. Twitter users wanted him to be dead because you can not use someone who's alive as a political weapon.

In a really bad time in my life friends were concerned about me and approached me worried and I was more offended by it and told them that it pissed me off that they thought I would be that kind of a coward.

(which by "Cremation scheduled", I understand it's the date he was cremated).
It's when it was scheduled, and I assume there's no reason it didn't happen as scheduled. But nobody went back and made a note saying "Now the cremation is done".
By the way, if anyone does try to line up timestamps, everything in my list is Japanese time, including the correspondence with Americans.

I’m certain the urn was a red herring. It probably started as a shitpost from someone here that spiraled out of control.

Assuming the story is true that's a textbook case of a desperate guy trying a few "impossibles" before calling it quits.
Very much true. Null posted the interactions on the 14th page of this thread.

The strangest thing to me was that he really was obscure enough to be forgotten. But the dumbass had to go off himself, blame the kiwifarms for no good reason and and on top of that, his friends had to make it everyone's business by joining the campaign ran by sex pests and disgusting perverts with the goal of destroying the site.
So here we are 2 years later, very much alive and kicking, but now with everyone knowing all about Byuu and scrutinizing him and his associates way more than when he was alive.

He filled a small niche at best. If anything just a footnote in the world of emulating. It would have stayed that way and the thread would have been long buried if not for the fact he tried to blackmail Null before offing himself and causing a lot of headaches for the site as trannies used it for another "KIWIFARMS KILLED THIS POOR BABY!"

And none of it really added up given that at the time, the only information we had was VERY dubious at best. The FOIA is the closest thing we have to a 'confirmed kill' (real suicide that had fuck all to do with this site's discussion of him). And this whole thing happened like 2 years ago now. Time flies when you're having fun I guess!

Assuming this is legit, I'm not sure I can truly describe what I feel.

For some reason, it's mostly contempt or disdain, I think. Like, imagine doing this to yourself over something so small. Absolute loser behavior. Pathetic.

You know, if he supposedly died because of a KF thread, it makes me wonder if there was even more very damaging and very illegal stuff he was hiding...

I think what I noticed is Byuu did blackmail Null and Null was polite in mail conversation.
But that's the thing, he didn't. His interactions with the farms and his thread were generally positive.

And then, out of the blue, he tried to blackmail Null.
The truth of the matter is, jersh isn't the evil puppet master people make him out to be.
He went out on a limb for Chris, he's tossed around the idea of helping Kingcobra, and right up until the end he felt enough to try and put Byuu and his retarded tranny ass back onto some kinda path in life.

He's gone out of his way multiple times to help people that even his own forum members say he should just leave be. I honestly think Byuu was expecting him to just say "get fucked tranny faggot" and when he didn't, Byuu simply didn't know how to react. After all, it's clear this was a pattern for him.

Reluctantly, I say rest in piss. Who knows what he could have accomplished if he had swerved the discord perverts.
