Gonna tag myself as ancient, but I was in HS in the 90’s and it was very much frowned upon then too. Seinfeld caught heat, but he had Fuck You Money. I don’t remember him being accused of “grooming“ the 17-year-old he met in the park, that became common lexicon in 21st century. She ended up dumping Seinfeld bc she got homesick for NY. Even “Romeo & Juliet” bylaws wouldn’t save a dude back then. My older brother’s college roomate had sexual contact with an underage girl at a party, he must’ve been about 22, she was 17. AoC in my state is 18. Brother told us one day he needed a new roommate because “Chuck is a dumbass and is in county lockup, he’s getting kicked out of school”. Ruined. Another guy I knew got the cum-dumbs at 19 and was destroyed too. Saw him years later working at a Subway. One hormonal mistake & being naive enough to believe what girls say could have devastating consequences then as now.

Oh I know, the 31 years ago was sarcastic because a lot of zoomers seem to think 40yo dudes were dating 13yo girls back then or something, and don't get me started when they meet a black boomer and ask him if he was a slave (I shit you not I saw it first hand).

Technically Ed was 37 or 38 at the time, 41 when he self-deleted. His other accuser, the grown-ass woman, said he promised her professional favors so he had some kind of industry pull. Eisner winning comic artist, that’s not nothing man.

Fair enough but again he wasn't mcfarlane who was already rich and famous by his age, or even as big as crumb had been in the comix scene. His work was still well above average tho, but being good does not automatically make you popular nor well connected.

I'm not one of the legal experts at all, but does airing someone's dirty laundry really constitute legal harassment? Isn't that the exact idea people have used to try to get KF taken down in the past?

I don't want to be too optimistic because these woke fucks seem to be teflon-coated thanks to the myriad of NGOs with top lawyers to protect them pro-bono but I think here's different because its not a bunch of anonymous people on some obscure forum doing it but well-known people within the same industry essentially blacklisting him over something that's technically not illegal.

I actually think it would be a fun design if the car had a beanie. Not a real one, but a graphic as part of the wrap. I think it would attract attention and maybe get people to wanna find who Tim Pool is.
