If Nick hasn't got some sort of agreement beyond a generic affiliate deal, he's pretending really hard that he does. On the latest stream he explicitly calls it a sponsorship, says he's required to do an ad read in the first half hour, then dwells ten minutes on it (starting at around 23m).
I believe that Nick has previously stated that there were some ads that Rumble requires creators to take. Fields of Greens is shilled by many names on Rumble so I would guess that would explain why.

On March 27 Rumble reported a loss of 14 cents per share for Q4 2023. This equates to a loss of $29 million for the quarter and $116 million for FY 2023. This represents a year-over-year increase in net losses for the quarter of approximately 3000%.

Consolidated Statements of Operations (Unaudited)

Category | Q4 2023 | Q4 2022 | FY 2023 | FY 2022
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Revenues | $20,391,872 | $19,957,025 | $80,963,451 | $39,384,284
Total Expenses | $57,599,884 | $39,197,523 | $216,510,463 | $74,984,595
Net Loss | $29,277,227 | $944,668 | $116,420,462 | $11,403,994

Despite such poor numbers, Rumble management has a positive outlook. How will they turn things around and how does this impact our friend Nicki?

Beginning with the second quarter of 2024, we expect revenue to increase on a sequential basis. As a result of our revenue engines coming online and our guaranteed creator commitments set to significantly decrease by the end of 2024 and into 2025, we continue to move materially towards breakeven in 2025.

Wait, what is that about creator commitments? The CEO was asked about that during the earnings call.

Sounds like some bad news for Nicki. 60% of nothing is nothing.

That's a Brazilian place, the descriptions are in portuguese and it even has "BR" on the profile.
Yeah my bad, I was going off memory. It was one of those two.

I think this is something common with "Christians" that behave like Nick they just want Jesus to be this feel-good new age hippy Jesus where you can just do whatever you want and not be judged.
That's bizarre because if they don't want to be judged, they should just become an atheist. Christians judging other Christians are well within the boundaries of religion.

A year ago he made allusions that he believed Jesus was just some guy.
I remember that one as well, it's the sort of thing I came up with at 14 when I no longer really believed. The idea that Jesus was just a good guy doing good things which threatened the rulers, they thought he was going to incite a revolution and dethrone them so they made a move. The body vanished because they didn't want to turn it into a place of worship. I still respected the Christian traditions and morality, it was merely a coping mechanism. There's a fallacy for this, circular reasoning.

It's so dumb.

I'm pretty sure that a significant portion of that same 2019 audience has a very different view of him now.
Can confirm

I sometimes wonder if newfags would even believe me if I told them there was a time when Tonkasaw ran a extremely entertaining morning show.
Dead Air Kemosabe

Memeology 101 trolling Nick
I don't think he's trolling I think he's being genuine. Back when Ralph started falling into cowdom he took Ralph's side for a while until it became clear that everything Josh and the farm's were saying about Ralph was true. He actually would show up to Ralph's streams and ask similar things until Ralph banned him from chat. He was actually concerned even then and it wasn't until gator abandoned Ralph that he finally admitted what Ralph had become. I legitimately think he's just a loyal "internet friend" to people he had interactions with on social media.

@Space Pope,

So, if I understand correctly, any further speculation as to whether he is still under contract, or could ever get another one, might be mooted by the fact Rumble's stated plan to investors is that nobody will have a minimum guaranteed contract anymore?

Because I am in the camp that believes his expired on or about March 1st, and he didn't get another.

With this earnings report, and what the executive said on the conference call, I'm not sure he's gonna be able to fool anybody for much longer. It also might explain why he's been using the word "agreement" instead of "contract."

Also, this might be why Mersh has been losing his shit at Metokur's hat sales more than usual.

EDIT: Elaboration.

It also makes sense that nick acted like they were ignoring him and him saying he hasnt heard back from rumble, etc. The ad plan had to have been in the works for some time and any low tier contracts would have been postponed.

So is 60% a good percentage? If it it was on youtube? I know rumble is a shit platform so even at 90% it probably still can't compare.

Isn't Youtube's cut 70% or is that just for Super Chats?

Yeah it seems to be only 5% different (55 vs 60) but rumble might be charging advertisers a lot less, otherwise they wouldn't bother. I don't know if live streams has ads in the same category as long form videos or not (i have ad blocks). Business insider said long form ranges from $1.61 to $29.30 and I bet your ass that nick would be in the short end of the stick cause of his topics. Stuff like cooking channel, travel, aquarium/terrarium would be a lot more palatable to advertisers.

Rumble also fakes their views so that's gonna bite them in the ass. We'll see if they play straight on this one.

It seems to me it's not just "low-tier contracts," but everybody.

I would imagine he's fucking pissed about this, if true. With no minimal guaranteed contract revenue anymore, viewership and superchats are supremely important again. Both of those depend on making content people want to watch, and audience engagement, respectively.

Old Nick could have made this work. Like he did on YouTube when he was in his prime, and his show was worth watching.

But new Nick? Oh boy. :story:

So is 60% a good percentage?
It's slightly better than YouTube's 55%, as pointed out by @Potatoherder but, again, viewership is everything. Also, 60% of what?

Mind you, I think he can still make some money, but he's not gonna be making anywhere NEAR the amount he did before. That's been suspected for a while now, and this seems like it might confirm it.

EDIT: Typos and elaboration.

Another win for Rumble at $57 compared to the $50 on YT. 3 muted users, nothing TheSoftyJacker, Capsual0081, or OverEducatedSP said was that bad. Maybe for caps usage? Why did Nick stream so long? Viewership was awful and paid chats were also awful. You'll notice there is a rumble issue at around 1:46am central and that came right after the peak in viewers. It probably is just a random rumble issue.

Aussie is going full hog into the comicsgate grift.

I can't believe Rekieta sucked dick for a Rumble contract
I don't believe Rekieta has a Rumble contract. Certainly not a good one. Nick is a lying liar who lies. I'm still with @Balldo's Gate on this.

Just look at the numbers @Potatoherder posted tonight and previous. It also seems to conflict what Rumble said in their Q1 '24 report as @Space Pope shared earlier in the evening.

But, hey, you know what? I could be wrong. The thread could be wrong. As I've said in the past, Rumble is a weird ass company. They gave a contract to fucking Mersh, after all.

Why did Nick stream so long?
It was a "fun stream" with his buddy Valhalla Awaits. Basically three hours of that thing where Nick hears a random English word that reminds him of sex, negroes, or Stephen Hawking and then the improv comedy starts.

If you wonder what sort of person would be interested in watching this, looking at the chat provides some hints:

But then again, it's hard to tell if Nick still has fans or if the trolls are getting subtler:
