What I'm curious about it if she actually intended on staying in Canada for a few months when she said she was. I'm leaning towards no, but I don't think a fight with Salah was the catalyst either, because I don't think Chantal would've had the maturity and self control to say she and Salah are on good terms, won't shit-talk each other, etc if there was an actual "never going back" level blowup. If there was, I'm fairly certain her first act after touching down in Canada (besides retrieving her car, hitting up the dispensary and porking out at a couple of drive-thrus, I mean) would be to hop on stream and really let it rip on Salah with every personal below-the-belt insult she could think of. Which is almost exactly what she did the last couple of times. Yes, and the EE.LATION was probably just hyper-fueled by adrenaline and (the real) jet lag. Once the reality set in, and she realized exactly what would be entailed in starting over from scratch AGAIN she realized it’s just not doable - at least by her lazy ass.
