They're not dumbasses. They're judas goats. The entire point of the full abortion bans is to energize the left's base against the right. They do similar shit with LGBT, Muslims, Blacks and Latinos -- any time the right starts gaining in those demographics, or even if the left just starts losing in them, some RINO will come out and do something intnetionally stupid so the lefty m edia has a talking point to rage about.

It's infuriating that the right hasn't figured out how to do the same thing back. The left just hands out talking points the right could use, and that's actual lefty politicians and pundits -- it becomes even lower hanging fruit if you aim for street level activist lefties. Libs of TikTok is a good start, but imagine if they treated Chicago like a war zone, reporting on every gang shooting like it was 9/11. "CRISIS IN CHICAGO: Illegal Civil Rights violations (read: gun control laws) leave American citizens helpless in face of deomstic terrorist (read: gang) violence. Democrat mayor refuses to act!" Imagine treating drag kid shows like the Satanic Panic stuff -- exposes on the nightly news talking about what "queer family" means (it's a codeword that means 'Grooming') and the like.

But that would require the right wanting to win, and that would require the right risking being called bad names and possibly giving up the grift, and that won't happen until we're further along in Weimar 2.0.

Edit: As others have pointed out, there's also a near infinite amount of money to be made by Conservative, Inc. as long as they play the delicate dancing game of keeping the right aaaalmost winning, but never actually winning anything, so the righty boomers and the like will constantly donate money to Matt Walsh and the like.

One, such a war would be fought because Hillary embarrassed herself with the bungled Russian Reset, which we now know was always a bullshit fake-out to trick Russia into lowering its guard. Two, how would such a war have played out then? Russia hadn't yet hardened its financial assets yet, so SWIFT sanctions would have hit it harder than it did in reality, the US military wasn't 100% woke (but probably at 50% because of SHARP) and would have bum rushed the Black Sea, and Europe's economy mostly functioned at that time. Would have been like the current war that NATO totally isn't involved in, pinky promises, or would Russia have been turned into the next Iraq?
