Pat being enlisted in the military would be hilarious. Yes, its doubtful he could pass the ASVAB. Physical wise, he would have to get a fatty waiver.

But just pretend you get E-2 Tomlinson showing up to your unit from boot camp.

When you are in the military, especially junior enlisted, you got along with people. Everything has to be shared and you have to show respect to others. You also can't show that you are easily triggered by anything otherwise you become the entertainment on a deployment.

Pat would have lasted two weeks on active duty.

I've seen similar things happen. A kid goes to an article 15 for something relatively minor and unintentionally talks their way into an other than honorable discharge, losing all their benefits.
