All these things are gross but don't really matter in the context of this thread. What matters is that he has handlers like all these other big streamers and none of his takes are really sincere, he's playing up to his demographic without going too deep to seriously endanger his 'career'. If his handlers determine that going too far on this stuff is too dangerous he'll walk it back and won't go all in on it. He's your typical insincere grifter.

Like above all else he's a WoW addict and liking Blizzard games is his personality so he'll never really call them out on anything unless it's really safe to do so, even though Blizzard hates his guts and wants nothing to do with him he'll still tow the line because if Blizzard were in real financial trouble or if WoW were in danger of shutting down that'd be like 90% of his personality gone right there.

Pretty much, this is propaganda that has been happening for a long time (buddy of mine thought GI Jane was a movie true story instead of a mountain of bullshit made up from a couple of real details). But something changed around 15-10 years ago. In the 90s and early 2000s, it was well made propaganda, didn't beat you in the head about it, was actually entertaining and had a message of optimism. Propaganda today is unfun, preachy and mean spirited and everywhere now though.

Gabe had a really simple, really good idea. If you make buying it easier than pirating it and throwing in that you can one click install anything in your library anywhere, people will buy it.

I like her look. Kinda a late 70s/early 80s rocker girl look. Maybe they were trying to attract the older fans who would have dated a girl that looked like this 45 years ago? Eyes are a tad far apart but she's not ugly. She reminds me of Joan Jett. It could be way worse. Take what you can get at this point.

Can we actually focus on the price that Ubisoft wants us to pay for this pig slop? They already want you to pay over $115 bucks for Day One DLC (they're already locking you out of complete content if you don't buy their super mega DELUXE edition), and that's not even counting the fact that the game requires an always online connection (for a SINGLE PLAYER EXPERIENCE, BY THE WAY). I'm more concerned with that particular bullshit than I am sloppy character design from a western studio.
