And its the absolute best thing to do. Abortion is one of the "Perennial Issues" the uniparty has handcrafted to be a constant winner for the respective parties and they trot it out whenever they need to nudge choices to the 'correct' opinions. Trump is going a long way towards defanging it. -most- voters, by a wide margin, support handing it to the states, And this is a situation that is one of the ones where Voter Apathy helps because as long as "Its with the states" permeates the public conscious, which the left crowing about how Trump killed Roe actually does for him, then voters largely go "Good" and it -doesn't even register- as an issue.

Then all Trump has to do is speak out against any particularly egregious ones. Also notice how he slipped in "... it's all about state rights." right in the middle there sandwiched between him lightly speaking against it. Perfect counter. All Trump's online team has to do is spam that cli everywhere for the online discussion and it will rapidly spread through the normie audience.

Also as an aside, I am in the camp of "Ban abortion entirely except in obvious excepts like rape, incest, and the life of the mother". I acknowledge though that the U.S. is not ready for such a degree of restriction and view everything around this as a good thing. Its a chance to neutralize the issue and set the heat for it down to 0 over the long run. Then the debate can restart in truth.

Lol the CAO/lawyer of Planet Fitness till 2017 was a pedo and had been found guilty of multiple charges over several years and abused minors on several occasions. In two instances, he was a teacher and was found guilty of abusing his students.

They have already picked their side.

What about Bill Clinton s safe legal and rare?

I brought that up a few years ago and got comments from another site about how I was shaming women etc.

I m a big fan of people being allowed to own thier body. And the whiplash of roe vs getting the jab will never not be funny

I had a question. If hypothetically there was a constitutional amendment that States could take back rights for anything the government has proven to shirk it's duty on (such as the border, healthcare, education, medical choice, etc) would that help prevent these issues from getting this bad? or would that depend on nuances that need their own thread to discuss?

Who gets to decide what "proven to shirk its duty" means? Each state for within their borders? The federal government? Because right now it's make an amendment and claw it back that way. I think anything less than that is going to cause many more problems than it would solve.

What we need to do is smack the supreme court into remembering the interstate commerce clause is about keeping states from imposing terrifs on each other and not a blank check to the federal government to do whatever they want.
