Great recommendation, there's a whole pile of weird/creepy games out there and yet youtube is mostly just videos with screaming overreaction to The latest Poppy Playtime clone or the fotm 15 minute indie pixel horror games

I am so behind my YT analog horror lore but when did Alex Kister trooned out? I thought the other Alex from Monument Mythos was the one that trooned out.

They/them is the actually the default when many social media pages rolled out this pronouns bullshit. You'll have to go and change it yourself.
Do you have a very old facebook account? Go look it up, chances are it'll be set to they/them.

Or he just changed it, who knows. When did YouTube implement this gay rubbish anyway?

I know this is an old post but something that stood out to me was the way these animations were set up. In OOT, there were animations to open doors, chests, etc. They pushed the console to its limits wherever they could. In Shipwrecked you can see the developer either uses no animations (like a fade to black in loading areas) or a stock animation that is obviously super amateur.
Petscop was probably the best at these types of "old game" videos (though it taking literal real life child abuse of the Newmaker girl was pretty shitty imo), but mostly because it wasn't a real playable game but instead an animation.
I don't blame zoomers for not knowing boomer games, but i do blame them for appropriating my culture. :jaceknife:

Petscop was a real game, an .exe on the creators PC, you may have gotten it confused with AI Builds which was inspired by Petscop, where although there is a real game, most of what's on screen is video editing.

However Petscops story got ruined, the creator was making it all up as he went along and had nothing planned ahead. When the series started getting popular and attention was brought to the Newmaker story he shit himself and changed the remainder of the series to be about the main character Paul actually being Care, having poonered out after the abuse from Marvin. What a dissapointment :bossman:

Really been enjoying his stuff recently. He was worried initially people would think he was a GrimBeard knock off because their style of humor can be similar, but it's different enough that I didn't notice until he mentioned it.

This guy is also worth watching if you're interested in older, lesser known horror games. He's got an obvious accent but I don't hate it, his stuff is fairly easy to put on in the background. He's even got an older video on Rule of Rose, which was exciting to see talked about.

Yeah no, Ragnar's yet another insufferable wokeist. I remember the video he did on The Void (from the creators of Pathologic) arguing that it's an allegory for patriarchal oppression. Dropped him and never looked back.
