Hey I’m sorry if this is a dumb question, but why the fuck are there still zero Pokemon games included in the Online + Expansion Pack? I’m not talking about Snap or Stadium or tcg, I mean classic titles from the gameboy entries? I assumed they were going to wait another year for subscriptions to expire the same way they did when they added the gameboy libraries to retain subscribers but it’s April now and they’ve added fuck all.
Sure they don’t technically own the franchise, but the other spinoff games are there and as far as I can tell there’s no plan to release a red/blue/yellow or gold/silver collection for sale so is there some obvious reason I’m overlooking? I’ve been assuming it’s just Nintendo being Nintendo and refusing to make profitable decisions for stupid jap reasons but at this point I have to assume there’s some actual reason they don’t want to make the money.
Do they not sell the retro titles just so manchildren have to buy whatever version is the newest iteration of the franchise if they want to play? Please, somebody enlighten me.
