Even some of my far-far left friends (Gay School Teacher-level) have pretty much all declared Biden an absolute disaster. I really don't see any avenue for success. The media is really starting to crumble on the narrative of Joe being anything but a braindead turbonigger.

This will be interesting to watch... I totally buy this is the narrative they are going to try to swing but its absolutely delusional. Which, thinking about it, does make sense. I don't pretend to know for certain if they can swing another steal but I do know they are acting like they are worried about it. So this makes sense as a hail mary if you accept the fact they are huffing their own farts, getting high on their own supply, and have officially totally divorced themselves from reality.

Of course, all thats on the assumption they do kick off a war. We haven't actually done so... yet.

I'm actually half-looking forward to seeing Biden announce we personally are in a war. It will be fascinating seeing what happens to the polling and what happens to Biden's favorability.

Starting a war is one of the only things I could think of with the potential to shake off a large section of TDS suffering Wine Moms. And you just know, you -know-, this admin is dumb enough to raise the idea of the draft. I doubt it would ever be drawn, there are enough people in congress with a self-preservation instinct intact to prevent that, but just the admin floating the -idea- would be catastrophic to them.

A draft and full mobilization means a bottomless well of military spending, into the MIC, with plenty of grift opportunities to line pockets or fund their last ditch personal projects on the way out. Considering how high they're getting off their own brand, I could buy them thinking that it'll all ultimately be fine, as opposed to the entirety of the US opposing world going full panic mode at the prospect of the beast finally rising to full form with purpose.

The USA atmosphere around patriotism currently could probably be seen as an era similar to the immediate aftermath of the Vietnam War. Just fatigue, malaise and a sense of how pointless all the fighting was, except this time people are even more distrustful of the American government. The military also has its own fair share of problems.

Congress as a whole actually gets surprisingly little from military contracts. Its mostly an Executive Branch money hole. Senators tend to get a little of it, house members almost fucking nothing. The only exception is as kickbacks for the Thin Veneer of Corruption but the entirety of the government views Biden's ability to pay back favors as suspect.

Others say "NPC" or something else, I call these people "soulless husks." Truly beyond help, unable to craft even their own thoughts and take on majority opinions and what-not to try and feel something; and attack (as good husks do) when presented with anything that deviates from the established narrative. These are the people who think Hassan, Destiny, and other Internet retards are intelligent or amazing thinkers, these are the people who will readily make a claim and then ask you for scientific proof when you claim something else; despite their original claim and any disapproving claim being rooted in something they're unable to understand. These are the people who will scream about certain things being "social constructs," but then rely on other social constructs to backup whatever brand of bull-shit they find themselves bathing in.
