Title: Question About Trans Men Bottom Surgery Coming From A Cis Woman
Thread flair: SurgeryTalk

Hello everyone! I'm actually not a trans man, but instead a pansexual cis woman (As the title suggests) and something came to mind within the last 24 hours, and that's about the topic of wanting to get bottom surgery. I'm a little nervous to post this because I don't wanna potentially offend anyone but I was wondering if as a trans man, do you feel like you need to get SRS in order to truly feel like a man or are you just comfortable with keeping your vagina?

I ask this question because there is this ftm YouTuber I use to watch that said he was much more comfortable with keeping his vagina as oppose to getting SRS due to potential risks. I also saw this other trans guy on a dating show on YouTube say that because he still has a vagina, potential lovers may become squeamish. This, for me, would absolutely NOT be an issue as I personally find it pretty cool and nothing to be ashamed of.

Keeping your vagina as a trans man is a relatively new concept for me that I find really fascinating since I feel that as a society, we're really misinformed on the transgender community as a whole and I feel we view them in this sort of "One size fits all", monolithic type of way.

Yeah I've noticed that archiving keeps failing because reddit seems to be blocking(?) the accounts the archives use so it ends up archiving the 'please log in' page.
Repeat tries seem to be working for me but it's definitely very annoying.

MtF girlfriend detransing, told me that they want to be in a gay relationship … confused

my girlfriend is detransitioning after 7 yrs of us dating. im a trans guy, consider myself straight i guess, before i transitioned i considered myself a lesbian. i have never dated a man, well, i guess until now.

i dont know how to feel abt it. and im scared, honestly. i am in love with this person a lot and i feel like it wouldn’t make sense to break up. and nothing has changed really.

i just don’t know what my life is going to look like from here on out. i never wanted to date a man and now i’m probably going to end up marrying one and have to tell people for the rest of my life i am?
LMAO I don't even have the words. This bitch is in deep.

I'm not as special as I though so I collect identities succulents in an attempt to re-cultivate that specialness, He/Him, parroting the talking points hoping I get a mutant or crossbreed in a new color because fuck that plant lady and her store downtown.
I know this was hyperbole, but in swapping out bits it made me realize a lot of troons need a hobby with delayed gratification. Grow some cactus niggas, you actually have to neglect them a little bit so it's perfect.

Use new.reddit.com with archive.is <<== Much fiddling before I figured it out.
Of course it's an arms race, so this might not keep on working.

Had all my hair forcibly shaven off.

I've been out as trans (mtf19) for 4 years and would very easily pass due to my long blonde hair and feminine features, but this weekend I was visiting family and my dad sat me down and told me that "this whole thing has lasted too long" and he pulled out a pair of clippers and started shaving my hair off. I had no idea what to do. It happened like 30 minutes ago and I have nobody I can tell this to all my friends will laugh at me, I'm sat on my bathroom floor rn with a buzzcut shaved close to my scalp. My hair was so pretty :( now I look so masculine and gross I just want to cryyyy when I reach to play with my hair its just stubble

Edit: thanks for all the support guyss x it's been an eventful day so I'm gonna take time to process everything and figure out what to do next 🩷

Bottom surgery has always been contentious amongst trannies no matter a pooner or troon. Some feel without the surgery they'll never be a "Real" man or woman like's that will ever be possible, but it feeds their delusions. while others fear they'll lose their ability to orgasm and again totally not a fetish.

Plebshit

It makes me wonder how many of them walk around in this state of paranoia. Imagine worrying about every person that will be in your social zone. No wonder they're all pressurized powder kegs.

Note the troon in the second comment... Yeah pal, they're glaring at you because their husbands are eye raping you. These people are seriously split. It's either they're complete genetic abominations or they're high sex. Completely on brand.

The comments.I know these people are liars but to play devil's advocate, how the fuck can 7/8 people (not including parents) in your family be LGBT?What exactly are the odds of that happening? But no, its not a social contagion. Some how your families genes were that unlucky to produce 7 people being LGBT.

Whats the general feeling among Bongs, is there support for NHS funded troon shit by the public?
From people I've spoken to, most absolutely do not want it funded or supported in any way. Waiting lists for everything are so high that most want resources concentrated in areas where people actually can't function properly until they get care.

Tangentially related: There was a big push to remove female-specific words from antenatal care that received huge pushback in TERFy circles and leaked out into the mainstream because not using correct language is confusing and can lead to lower standards of care. This made a lot of people reassess exactly what trans lunacy is doing to the NHS.

I'm not in favor of socialized medicine, but I also don't believe someone should be left without treatment for cancer or something because they can't afford treatment, or someone being turned away at the ER with a bone sticking out of their leg because they don't have insurance.
I am fully in favour of socialised medicine for things that aren't your fault. But I do think some people take the piss, see the UK munchies in the munchie thread. There are stories of people going to the doctor to get free paracetamol for their kids (under 16s get free prescriptions), stuff like that is taking up an appointment for something that costs literally 50p, taking an appointment away from someone who might actually need it. Fuck knows how to deal with that, I think I'd just make a blanket rule that anything below £5 that can be bought OTC will not be prescribed and people who come in for such are at the back of the queue for their next appointment.

The situation with low income Type 1 diabetics in the US is appalling, most people here are happy for their taxes to support people with life threatening chronic diseases, especially if it keeps them in work.

I've had a case of horribly bad luck that would have left me in unmanageable debt if I was in the states, most people I know who have used significant NHS resources have needed them through no fault of their own. My understanding of insurance in the US is that you can still end up paying thousands even though treatment is technically covered. Please correct me if I'm wrong, but I'd find that possibility hanging over me permanently stressful as fuck.

There is a lot of gatekeeping now for self inflicted things, like if you smoke and need a certain treatment for a condition caused or worsened by smoking, you need to quit before they even put you on the waiting list. I think we are going to end up doing a similar thing with obesity as its putting massive strain on an already stretched-to-fuck system.

In France they do this thing where they present you with a bill for the full cost, but most of it is covered by the state. I think low income people get it all covered. So people know the actual cost of their treatment. I like that concept because I think some pisstakers would reassess, and it would increase social pressure on them if people actually knew just how much they were costing taxpayers.

I wouldn't want troon surgeries paid for by the taxpayer anymore than I'd want diet pills and liposuction for anachans paid for. That shit is not only not life saving, its not helping the problem and its often just causing more.
100% agree on this.
