Never got into Warhammer 40k. How old is it and did it only include male characters? Also why did it got popular. Never got into figurines.
I am not surprised by that desicion though, even if it is disappointing. Any large fanbase will get corrupted.
What we can do maybe is limiting the lore till 2020-2023?

It's not the women that are a problem it's the shitty ways they go about trying to up their diversity quotas. Make some cool well written Soritas stories to put women in the spotlight? Rogue trader which would turn in to 40k dropped in 87.
Most factions aside from marines/super special golden marines or agendered alien races ala tyranids or orks have had some form of female models. GW did early on actually release two female space marine models but nobody bought them because they were fuck ugly.

Personally, under normal circumstances I could accept it. Its really not that an extreme of a change, especially with it being just some whatever throw away excerpt from a codex, for a faction with very minimal presence as is. Not even as egregious as some AoS stuff, especially in comparison to the Stormcast Eternals.

I believe some troons are former incels that probably want to take revenge on females because of feminazis...
But trooning should be highly discouraged. It fucksboth female and male spaces. We need to create based clones of established communities that gatekeep politics and any activism.

Seeing so many established communities/franchises getting politically corrupted is affecting me with overwhelming despair. But fortunately we know this phenomenon has happened in 20th century, during War, Nazi Germany (Mercedes, Coca Cola ads that glorified Nazi doctrine). The solution is to reject the official line and sanitize in our communities and do it till the winds are changing.

Might also start reading more books. I admit, I am lazy with reading books. But old ones are pristine from censorship (unless you buy sanitized editions like I heard it happened with Road Dahl books) and it might be a solution to run from propaganda.
