It is amazing that most of us Kiwis probably have a better educational record than most online intellectuals, and we're a bunch of fucking retards. I honestly think a lot of the Skeptic stuff was driven by failures who joined r/atheism and decided they were smarter than everyone else as a result (Sargon and Armoured Skeptic are two very good examples of this). To them the appeal of Atheism wasn't a rejection of God or Religion but a deep seated need to feel smarter and better than other people, most likely because they were not smart, they were socially inept and they were aesthetically challenges in their formative years and it created a very deep insecurity in them. And holding a Dawkins books and saying "U Christians are retards, duh" was an easy way of pretending to be smart when online atheism peaked in popularity late 200s-early 2010s.

All of Carl's actions can be understood if you look at it this way. Especially after he got a taste of praise and recognition by lucking out by bitching about the right things around Gamergate. He is the same ugly, uncharismatic dunce he was in middle school and if fixing simultaneously for attention and a need to feel better than somebody else. Everything outside of that, it is fluid. Carl will become a Christian, Muslim or a hindu if that became the popular thing to do in order to feel better than other people and he'll do it publicly to get praise for it. Carl will move from centre, to right, and even to the left, if it allows him to smuckle at an unpopular group and get asspats and views for it.

Carl changing these thing doesn't change the fact he is still the underachieving and unappealing wallflower he was going through school and he'll never be anything else because emoitionally Carl is incapable of moving beyond being mocked for being that underachieving and unappealing wallflower he was in high school. By not letting go he's locked himself into a self defeating cycle of doing dumb shit for attention to prove to people he isn't a dunce only to get laughed at by everyone for being a dunce.

I love Callum, this sucks but in a way its pretty good cause Ill stop watching this garbage since his meme rants will stop. I still feel like John Wheatley was their best member, I love that man but Callum is up there, I like him better than Harry now since Harry is becoming a white nationalist, fucking britnigger.
