I had posted on /biz/ before I got hit with the email verification about the fact that the jannies are the ones who are allowing the spam to continue and that an email verification doesn't matter because the spammers will just create throwaways and continue as they do, and I got a three-day ban for "Complaining about 4chan staff."

Yeah no shit, literal throwaway factories like protonmail are on their approved list.

That's the number one reason 4chan has a serious problem. The jannies are absolutely fucking lazy on the majority of subjects and don't give a fuck if the local schizo is shitting up the threads or the usual BBC spam is going on, but then on a very particular number of topics they focus like a laser and hand out bans for the slightest thing.

Jannies need to step their game up but they won't. They cherry-pick what they personally want removed from the boards. /vg/ generals like Blue Archive General, Monster Hunter General, FFXIV General, Warframe General and Phantasy Star Online 2 General all have hardscore schizo infestations. The last of the list is home to five or six trannies that rotate their shitposting duties on the hour. The game is dead as all hell but the thread lives on as an erp lewd screenshot dump. If the local retards aren't calling eachother "cute" they're arguing amongst themselves or gossping like highschool girls. Plenty of people have been doxed on those threads too like some guy who beat his mother for crack money. There's also a Sega of America employee that lives there 24/7. Any post mentioning him negatively by name is removed in record time. I might make a thread about him if I'm not busy. Back to my point : The Jannies are selective with what gets removed.

He did this shit on 2channel. He's datamining to sell for profit. The glowies already have full access to 4chan's server and have for nearly two decades now. Nips were talking about this and warning 4chan back when he bought the site, but the userbase is retarded and don't care. The proof is in that there are still people posting on /biz/ and I guarantee a good percentage of them aren't using throwaways from proton.

/a/ this time. They've always been absolute bitches who desperately want to maintain their moefag circlejerk but they've relaxed a lot from the old days. It's funny, every ban I've gotten from there lately has been because I was in /dbs/ shitposting. I think the mods watch those threads like hawks, seething that people are actually having fun that isn't approved by the hivemind. But a ban for mentioning something Star Trek is just wild, off topic isn't worth more than a warning.

Seems like I hear most of the most outrageous bullshit bans come from there more than anywhere else, and I frequent /v/ and /tv/ which has some shitty mods too.

Agree. Though it's still better than however /v/ is "moderated" (and i use that term in very heavy quotes as i think no moderation there would probably be better than the current regime).
