This isn't DS3. Strength builds are far easier for PvE because of how easy it is to poisebreak bosses with them. That's why Phil's first playthrough was heavy jump attack spam.

Most spells are pretty bad, you don't get to have as much health as a strength build because less red flasks, and a lot of enemies will dodge spells or are resistant to them.

I've played through with a faith build, an int built, a dex build, and a strength build. Strength is definitely the easiest and least amount of effort, follow by faith, then int, then dex.

I'm 99 in VIG, END, STR, AGI, FAITH; the real bonus is that your mimic tear can save you runes, instead of having to summon folks for Milena?
