That was months ago, and he's just quietly left to sit in his cube and not touch anything because he will fuck it up. Never noticed a smell, but he says his family is pissed at him for becoming too Americanized.
What's obnoxious is that we just got two guys on work package (short term contract. They're full time at the other place) who are getting paid half what I do, but we're paying their boss something like 4 times what I make. I would be livid if I were them... and we just tell them what we're paying. It's only fair.

All I hear from Israelis is how they "made the desert bloom" and Israel is the only modern / civilized state in the Middle East. So why does it needs so much aid? Palestinians look like they need aid more than the Israelis, to me.

Bros it feels like I'm on a sinking ship here. it sucks too because all the people at my store are good hard working Americans and we are the only general goods store in my town (the other store is grocery only). I'm sure we'll be among the last to close because we earn 1,000,000 in profit annually but shit i don't think they are gonna pull up from this one.
if the company as a whole goes under that is 211,000 jobs gone.

I've said it before. I'll say it again. If people want to fix the US government every single thing the government has done since 9/11 needs to be turned around onto public servants. The funny thing is, I believe in a surveillance state. The workers for the state should be under constant surveillance. You're a public servant? You need to wear a live streaming camera 24/7, no privacy at all. Patriot act making it so all my financial records are available to the state. Flip it around. I wanna see Pelosis receipts. This would fix about 70% of the issues with government. Think about it, no more "I don't remember" excuses. No more "what like with a cloth?" Excuses. The solution is right there. All that is needed is a gun to the head of the fuckers in charge to force it.

Now? I got my answer and I don't like it. It's an amazing turnaround that I don't think any of them know how to react to. There's this crippling inability to self reflect and moderate their tone that is just pushing people farther and farther away. It's even more infuriating when boomers support them without fail because your not allowed to criticize shit.
Its funny, in some small way Kanye was the preview/ prelude of the end for all of this. If they had left him alone and let him act like an idiot everything would have blown over, but they can't leave anything at risk. He had to be destroyed and every problem is a nail that needs to be Hammered down. But with every single hammer blow there's more rage, more criticism and more of a spotlight on the double standards.
And the sad thing is they won't learn a dam thing from any of it.
