Exactly. The more publicity they give to Warhammer, the more Warhammer eclipses every other tabletop wargame, the more it remains on the top and continues to gain revenue. Whenever people think tabletop, they'll be thinking about Warhammer and Space Marines, not Battletech or some other game, which makes the prospect of boycotting them all the more ridiculous.

Arch and others tried moving to Battletech but realized the owners of battletech are bigger wokies than GW ever was and the same goes for other people. Its easier to remain in the 40k sphere and just ignore 40k lore you dont like and push your own little right wing community focused on it than trying to leech onto a new IP. The entire mentality is very ingrained in 40k and will be impossible to remove (as much as GW would like to the locals of Nottingham even referred to their HQ as the nazi building for years). I dont see a boycott working but I do see 40k splitting more and more into extreme fringe fanbases fighting over who really controls the fandom mentality wise.

That's mostly concerning the lore nuts, most of whom don't even buy the product to begin with. Most of the whales will continue to buy so long as the models look good and they're good to play in a game.

Depends if they have another income source to go with it like a patreon following, but usually no. It's simply low effort content.

As far as youtube being liberal, it's only liberal so far as what's required to be "advertiser friendly" since at the end of the day, that's all youtube/google/alphabet cares about.

His patreon is at half the paid subscribers it was a few years back. Seems at most he's making 2k a month from it. He hasn't reliably broken 20k views on youtube for over a year. Doesn't livestream for people to be throwing tips at him that way. His growth on youtube has basically been dead flat for 3 years. Deleted all of his "Would Goku survive in 40k?" type bullshit ages ago only leaving the making terrain out of garbage vids and his 3d printing bullshit, but even the 3d printing thing didn't grow his channel as if people were so angry at GW they'd go to him for STL files and looking at the stuff he's shown off... it's pretty mediocre compared to what's available out there as STLs even a couple of years ago(and if he was paying someone to model the stuff, that's money out the window).

The chudhammers are right in that 40K lore needs to be coherent and respected in order for the universe to be believable and attractive.

Problem is, GW doesn't give a shit, and they haven't given a shit at all. They never gave a shit about the lore while mocking the very idea of a Warhammer canon.

So the wokehammers are by default correct according to the letter of the law in that past lore never mattered and gets retconned all the time. But this just makes the Warhammer universe inconsistent, as the chudhammers correctly point out.

Fallout, like Warhammer 40K, was always tottering on the side of the Left. You have Cold War America's failed policies leading to a nuclear apocalypse, the military's remnants that became a religious cult act like assholes, the actual government that comes back in the second game are fascist genocidal pricks, it's just that like Warhammer 40K, people liked the Brotherhood and the Enclave, so right-wing fans got attracted to it.
