Worse than that, its now become a liability to have timely transfers and tightly packed airport usage, because factors outside your control could cost you the entire airfare. Meanwhile, start padding out departure times significantly and just chill on the tarmac, and you're fine. Plane coulda left at 3? Well we're staying until 4:30, in case something happens that could delay us.

In the future, when a plane is delayed you get a refund, a bag of chips, an ironic I did that sticker, and a mail in ballot

I see one perspective where this may be a good thing.

Baggage loss has gotten so bad that it's regularly proven that they're being stolen, including a very notorious case of a Biden government official. If airlines are forced to actually be responsible for lost and damaged luggage they may work to enact reforms to prevent it, improving the likelihood that your luggage will safely arrive with you

Right now planes are literally falling out of the sky, with airlines like United having nonstop maintenance issues because they are trying to rush to cover for the late deliveries of planes their schedule expected. Forcing them to not rush so much may give more time for maintenance to look over the planes and do repairs.

Of course, it's possible that both of those things are impossible and so airlines will either collapse or pass the cost onto the customers.

This doesn’t make sense. Flights get delayed all the time. If I spend $4k on a flight to Asia and a leg is an hour late, what do I get refunded?

The funny thing is that I think you get refunded for that leg-- and then the airlines probably will just wash their hands on that matter and go "well we refunded you LOL good luck finding a new flight".

So what happens if the flight is subcontracted from another airline or booking service? Who pays you back then, and who pays that person?

I've been wondering about the recent shit this country has to offer as of recently and I've been thinking...is it really about the left-wing vs right-wing issue anymore? Because from what I've seen, its more about the Uniparty and their desire for a completely new society that they've engineered from scratch....vs the people and their stand to keep society the way it is for the last several centuries.

I say Trump is certainly the face of the latter, but I don't consider Biden as the true face of the Uniparty's desires as he's just an figurehead.

Generally I'd say it's more Contrarian vs Sheeple then Left vs Right. You'd have people who will side with the currently popular ideals the media tells them, and the people who will refuse to. There's also the third group of people who can easily switch sides as they evaluate what is right and wrong, but they aren't the majority
