Probably still one of these. They have sometimes dozens (hundreds?) of profiles for activities, so hiking is bound to be included. If you're into very long activities that your battery would not survive, you should exclude Apple Watch as it has pretty low battery life from what I read, and instead get something that you can get feedback online that it'll last for how long you need it.Thanks for the review! Do you know one that is good for hiking too?
I've used the most basic Garmin (forerunner 35) for all day trail runs. 13 hours and it only just saved it. Others used better watches and attached a battery bank during the run to top it up.Thanks for the review! Do you know one that is good for hiking too?
Impossible to tell cause the range of damage is really large, from large tears that can require surgery and come with loss of muscle function to minor tears that heal in weeks with just rest.Has anyone here ever strained (NOT sprained) a muscle? If so, how long did it take to heal.
I only walk during the day and always facing oncoming traffic. Should I still get one of those flashing lights and a safety vest? Or am I being a paranoid retard?
Any advice on how to get back in shape for a marathon?
Set a 5k pb new year's Day.
10k is a regular distance that needs to start growing now.
That, sadly, makes a lot of sense. It shouldn't make a difference, but I can see where it would. Thanks!when you wear a vest, you're declaring space on the road, and there are a lot of angry and belligerent drivers who think that roads are for them and them alone
Too little info, since you're targeting directly a marathon you're likely already done one or at least ran 20-30Ks before. The steps are largely irrelevant when you're training for a marathon. 10000 steps in a 10k tempo are far, far more intensive than 20k steps of a walk.Planning to do a charity marathon this year for the McCourt Foundation in LA. Right now I am counting my steps and trying to do more than 20,000 steps daily. Any advice on how to get back in shape for a marathon? Here the link if anyone is interested.
