seethe harder, we built tons of innovative technologies while the Palestinians can only build shitty weapons unless you're insinuating that the Intel and Apple research centers in Silicon Wadi somehow were "pilfered" from the Palestinians. We got the biggest Arab countries begging us for access to our technology while the Palestinians can't even get citizenship in those countries. Even the fellow members of the Ummah know what happens when you give kindness to a Palestinian.
See, given all this amazing innovation and success, what I don't get is why Israel still needs "aid" from the USA.

EDIT: My apologies, I should have read on. I see others have already made this point quite well.

Even then they might not get shit. The speciality alloys in (some) missiles use minerals and metals that are in very short supply. We are behind schedule for production in my plant largely do to these supply shortages, and we got MIC priority for certain things. Trying to massively increase production sounds like it'll be either a huge money pit, or a total impossibility unless things change drastically here soon.
Not just that, but let's be real: Isreal is a warzone. Always has been. You do NOT want your factories in the front of a war, which with how small Isreal is, is all of it. That is asking for trouble, and asking for the tech and TOOLING to get captured.

The US has methods of domestically extracting any required mineral.
The EPA has been aggressively banning that extraction and forcing procurement from our enemies.
Rare earth metals are now nearly exclusively from the Chinese sphere of influence.
Obama and Clinton saw to that, and Biden's coterie of nutjobs and traitors have continued the job.

I pointed it out yesterday that all "Environmentalism" since 1960 was a project financed and directed by our communist enemies to prevent us from making war, and here you go giving me a reminder.

None of your gay Israel arguments address the fact that we are paying them. They are rich enough to pay for their own weapons. We don't owe them anything. The idea that it somehow makes us richer to pay them to buy weapons from us is completely fucking retarded, if money worked that way, you'd get rich by giving your salary back to your boss so he could pay you to work for him.

Unfortunately, a 25% unrealized gains tax -- a tax on money you didn't make, but the government thinks you could have -- is also being pushed by whatever pink danger haired intern with "lesbian librarian on tumblr" glasses has xer hand up the puppet's ass today, which should be interesting when big business realizes what that means for them.

It means that if you found a company, and it does well, you will have to immediately sell it once it crosses the threshold that causes the 25% tax to kick in. This may sound like it will only hit Jeff Bezos, but a growing company is typically valued at ~10x revenue. If your company makes $1m/yr, congrats, you're now worth $10m and owe the government $2.5m.

A business with $1m/year revenue should be enough to sustain paying yourself about $60k/year, so good luck saving up a couple million bucks with that kind of income!

Appeal to SCOTUS again trying to dismiss Trump from election denied:

Supreme Court is considering whether abortion laws conflict with federal laws:

"FBI Director Chris Wray announced on Tuesday that the bureau is coordinating with colleges throughout the country to detect potential anti-Semitic threats and acts of violence amid waves of protests in opposition to Israel."

Great opportunity to read the article I posted explaining the benefits of this arrangement and how the US wins out. I'm against the aid but your reasoning is faulty. Israel has spent 8 billion on f35s and a ton more on buying American aerospace products instead of manufacturing their own. It's a loss leader.

No idea where you're getting this idea, most of it is safer than the US. Invasion hasn't really been an issue since the Egyptian/Jordanian peace treaties. The problem is mostly rockets.

>Allow Qataris to set up Middle Eastern studies departments with donations of billions of dollars
>Allow CAIR on campus despite their overt ties to the Muslim Brotherhood and Hamas
>Take in foreign students who pay a lot but hate the West

Damn I wonder how the situation got so bad

I'm anticipating heroic levels of spin as he tries to conflate brainwashed college lefties and imported mudslimes with white nationalists because they can both fit under the category of 'anti semitism' now.

yep, I expected much

- One option being considered is selling over 50% of TikTok's U.S. business while retaining a minority 20% stake to comply with limits on Chinese ownership.

- TikTok's U.S. portion could theoretically be worth up to $100 billion based on typical social media valuations, though a forced sale would likely reduce the price.

- ByteDance may prioritize selling to a non-tech company like Walmart rather than tech giants like Microsoft or Oracle to avoid scrutiny from the U.S. and China.

- China may block export of the algorithm technology. Without the algorithm, TikTok's appeal to buyers would be limited as they'd need to rebuild the back-end system and hire specialized engineers.

This is most definitely the endgame of any “antisemitism” laws or standards that get recommended: group them all into one category and then just use your newfound powers to use it on political enemies anyway, which are almost exclusively on the right. Kind of like how the PATRIOT Act got sold on just going after ayrabs and would never be used on Americans, just trust us, guy!

Meanwhile, in actual American politics.... Joe's team realized it's an election year and they need to throw at least something to the base.

These policies make increasingly less sense when Fed spending becomes more and more divorced from taxation.

The spending of the past 4 years is money printing. Not taxation. Increasing taxation is only to increase control.

It's also blatantly illegal. The Federal Government cannot institute that kind of tax. Only the States can.

The US economy grew last quarter at the slowest pace in two years as consumer and government spending cooled amid a sharp pickup in inflation.

Gross domestic product increased at a 1.6% annualized rate, below all economists’ forecasts, the government’s initial estimate showed.

Now realize they're cooking these numbers and they'll be revised downwards at least twice.

A depression is a loss of 10% GDP in a year. We're likely not there over this period, but over the past year?
Add in inflation, which should be subtracted from GDP.
I guarantee we've been in a depression.
You don't lose a combined 50% headcount from sectors like tech outside of a depression.
