Look my brother in christ you have not met a proper cat that expresses their love with dragging a dead mice across the carpet.
Such creatures can't be bad luck regardless of the colour.
No i had with my ex husband two black tomcats one of them was obvious upper class tomcat that will use his pimp hand to whichever cat graced our porch , the other was a a fat fuck that couldn't wipe properly and will loudly talk at you especially when it came to food.

I have never had an accident nor god has smitten me for having black cats.
